It's been months since the battle and it's been months since I was told Draco died. I didn't care about anything or anyone anymore. The only person I truly loved was gone.
I was always a happy person with full of joy. Always looking forward to do stuff, always being kind and respectful. Draco loved me, I loved him more than anything
I had fainted because of the overwhelming feelings when I first found out. And now, I'm living unhealthier than ever.
I always told my friends to sleep and eat enough, to care about themselves. Now they tell me I should do all of that. I just stopped taking care of myself. It seemed useless.
Every night, I went to the girls bathroom to cry my feelings out. Draco was everything I had. I loved this boy more than everything.
I also had nightmares almost everyday. Panting I woke up, covered in a pool of sweat. Dark circles decorated the spot beneath my eyes. My friends were worried, but no one really helped me go through it.
Now, I was walking in the hallway, on my way to Potions. I was running late, though could care less.
The hallways were empty and suddenly, I bumped into someone.
"Oh, (y/n). What are you still doing here?" A student, who I don't even know asked me.
"Um nothing." I replied and pushed myself past, shrugging it off. I kept on walking and once again, bumped into someone.
I looked up and saw a platinum blonde haired boy. At first, I thought I was just going crazy. I rubbed my eyes multiple times as his grey-blue ones were glued on me. I walked backwards slowly.
"Is it so witty?" I asked, thinking it might be someone using polyjuice potion. "Who are you?"
"It's me, (y/n)." He answered softly. I looked at him and scoffed.
"Am I a joke to you? Who are you?! Draco- Draco is dead. Who are you? It's not funny, he's dead. Dead!"
"I'm so sorry. Really sorry. (Y/n), you had to believe I'm dead. You had to. For your own safety." Draco looked at me apologetically.
"You" I said, my eyes glassy. I tapped on his shoulder with my index finger. "You idiot!" I said.
The pressure was too much. I got a strong headache and felt dizzy.
"I'm so sorry. I told everyone to look out for you when I'm gone. I had to." He said trying to come close to me, as I just stepped backwards. He tried to grab my shoulder.
"Don't touch me." I shouted. "And you believed, letting me believe you're dead is the best for my safety?!" He just kept on staring at me. "You caused me pain, Draco!" I yelled.
"I had to protect you. I hate myself for doing that. I didn't want it either, but I had to. It wasn't safe for you to know I'm still live."
"We could've solved it in any other way." I sniffled. He stepped forward and held me in his arms. I buried my face in his suit.
"There wasn't another way and that's the sad truth." He whispered.
"My heart wants to forgive you, Draco. My brain wants to push you off the Astronomy tower right now." He chuckled lowly, causing me to smile a little.
"I'm so sorry for everything. Now everything has come to an end. No bad anymore. We can live in peace."
"Promise? Promise you won't leave me ever again?"
"Promise." He kissed the top of my head.
