"Alright" I put my hands on my hips exhaustedly, since we've been running all the way down to the lake. "Wanna go in?" I asked.
Draco turned around and raised a brow. "Not really." He turned around to go and sit under a tree.
"Oh, c'mon you big baby." I teased and he looked up at me.
"Don't call me-"
"What? Big baby?"
"You'll regret-"
"What are you gonna do about it?" I leaned forward and took a few steps back. "Big baby" I whispered and he stood up.
He pointed with his index finger at me. "You know what." He approached me.
"What?" I smiled cheekily, waiting for an angry comeback. He stood close to my face and smirked. "I love you."
My grin fell and a confused look was plastered on my face by now. He, of course, took the opportunity and threw me over his shoulder. As I could process that he was running to the lake, I began to punch his back.
"Let me down!" I squeeked and tried to hold back a giggle as his pace only quickened. He enjoyed it and chuckled.
"Now you're being a big baby, (y/n). Stop whining." He said and stopped.
"Don't you dare throw me in there. I'm still in my cloth-" before I could finish my sentence, I got thrown into the water. He just laughed at me as I came back up. "You idiot." I said as I felt the cold water go through my clothes and touch my warm skin.
"Want some company?" He asked and jumped in.
He swam towards me, not breaking the eye contact as I began to get exhausted from trying to hold my head up.
He sneaked his hands around my waist and pulled me closer, looking in my eyes deeply. I wrapped my legs around his torso. His eyes wandered to my lips and I gave him a quick peck. He smirked. I smiled at him as he looked at me shyly.
"You know that I love you, right?" I asked as our faces were really close.
"Yeah, and I do too." He whispered.
"I hope you didn't get offended." I laughed a little as I thought of me calling him an idiot just a few minutes ago. "I was a little mad that you just simply threw me in."
He smiled and shook his head no. "But you're my idiot, keep that in mind."
His smile widened and he moved my head down to kiss my forehead. "We'll get cold." He said.
"If cold means we're gonna skip classes and spend our time together in my dorm sick, then gladly."
He just chuckled. "Alright, c'mon now." He swam back as I was still holding him.
We got out and I shivered from the sudden cold. A wind came just a few seconds after and I shivered even more. I began to tremble slightly.
"D-d-draco, our c-clothes are s-soaking wet." I stuttered.
"Oh darling." He smiled and went to get his wand from under the tree where he had placed it before jumping into the lake. He casted a quick drying spell and walked to me, putting his arm around my shoulder, pulling me close to him. I snuggled up against him as we walked back to his dorm.
"Love you." He kissed my cheek and forehead as he covered my body with his bed sheet for me to get warm.
"Love you more."
