"Hey" Draco entered my dorm and I turned my head from my Potions essay.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Still at that essay?" He asked and I nodded, looking at my parchement whilst holding the quill.
"What about you do it later and" I turned my head back to him confusedly. "We go outside, out for the night." The corner of his lips went up slightly in hope.
"Out?" I asked confused.
"Just to walk around. Nothing more." He shrugged. "But if you don't want to right now, I understand that."
"I'd love to." I said and he looked at me, his eyes lighting up.
"Let's go then." He pulled me up by my hand while smiling brightly.
I took my coat and he took his before we walked outside secretly. Suprisingly, Filch was nowhere to be seen and by now, we were both walking under the dark nightsky. The weather being cold, we pulled our coats closely to our bodies, but it was no big help.
"Come here." Draco opened his arm and I went under it. He held me tightly.
"Thank you." I whispered and he kissed my hair in response. "So, where are we going?" I asked and he shrugged. "Muggle world?" I asked, raising my brows in hope. He groaned, but eventually gave in, for me.
We were walking down the streets carelessly. The street lights shone as I was still under Draco's arm, in his warm embrace. Draco leaned down and kissed my cheek. I looked up to him, smiling widely. My head was resting on his arm as our fingers were intertwined.
"You know that I love you, right?" He said softly and I smiled.
"I know. And I love you too."
Time passed and we were talking and laughing about nonsense. Draco genuinely laughing, my favourite sound ever. I wish I could see him this way constantly. Happy, I mean.
"I know this is nothing special. I've had other girls, who only wanted to go out and spend money instead, but this, this is something irreplaceable, you know that? To be with you, alone. The whole world is silent, no people walking around, it's dark, the only light being those light streets, having you under my arm because it's somewhat cold."
"I love you more than everything." I whispered and he looked down. I could notice tears in the corner of his eyes. The reason why his face dropped, his eyes became teary was because... he never felt this way before. The way he was feeling right now, at the moment, he never felt it and only now he noticed.
"Everything?" The corner of his lips went up hesitantly for a second before dropping.
"Everything."
He stopped and so did I. Looking me deeply in the eyes with pure relief and happines as well as love, he cupped my face.
"I love you." He whispered before putting his lips softly on mine, kissing me passionately.
