It's been half a year since our break up. I can't get over him, yet watched him move on.
"But think about it. The Draco Malfoy as your ex boyfriend? Couldn't have a better one." Daphne told me and I nodded slightly, half listening, my chin on my palm.
"He has moved on." I whispered and watched him talking with a girl.
"Yeah, whatever." Daphne stood up and packed her things. "Anyway, I'm gonna head to our dorm, you'll come later?"
"Yeah, I'll see you later." I said and she waved before she walked out of the library.
I watched the girl Draco was talking to giggle. How did it come to this point? How could I lose the only person I ever loved? How has it been six months? It felt like forever. The time without him flew unimportantly.
I stood up as I sighed, deciding to let it be.
It was already night, causing the moon to shine through the empty hallway windows and the sky to be dark as the stars sparkled.
"What have we got here?" I heard a low voice and looked up, only to see Draco leaning against the wall in the distance.
"I can't deal with you now, Draco." I said exhausted and looked the other way, motioning him to leave me alone.
"Why so tense? Staring at me in the library once again I see." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"Oh please." I stopped next to him. "Don't act all cool, Malfoy. We both know you very well. Going to play that poor girl like you do with every girl's heart, right? Must be a special ability of yours. Breaking hearts, I mean." He scowled and looked at me furiously as I crossed my arms.
"Must be embarrassing for you to get heartbroken by a Malfoy, right?"
"Must be embarrassing to have lost me. But what can I say, your loss." I scowled either as he got angrier.
"Don't talk to me like that."
"Or what? Your father will hear about this? Tell him I send lots of love." I said and started to walk away. He grabbed my arm and yanked me back, his face more soften.
"(y/n), I-"
"I don't wanna listen to any of your apologizes or excuses, Draco. Let me go." I tried to free myself from his grip.
"I didn't actually come to get on your nerves, I-"
"I don't care. Go ahead and flirt with the girl in the library."
"You mean Astoria?" I looked at him confused.
"Whoever, I mustn't know the name." I said annoyed.
"Yeah, but Astoria is like very young?"
"Then it's not her." I said obvious. "Whatever. Let me go."
"Oh, the blonde one you mean."
"I. Don't. Care. I have to go back, let me go."
"You know I don't love anyone else except from-"
"Don't." I shut him up "Don't say it." I whispered "I seriously don't wanna hear it." I said and backed away.
"(y/n), please, I'm so-" I walked away before he could say anything else and shut the door to my dorm as soon as I got in.
"Ooh, someone's mad." I heard Daphne say from her bed as she was putting her jewelry in order.
"I- I don't wanna talk about it." I whisper said and threw my books on the floor.
