I laughed at something Draco said, our hands intertwined as we walked down the streets in the dark, the street lights near us brightening our way. Draco wanted to sneak out and therefore, here we were. We walked down an alley as calming music was heard from the distance. The more we walked the closer we came there. Near the cafe I was stopped by Draco pulling me back by my hand. He spun me, then held me to his chest as he began swinging right and left in the empty street, hand on my waist.
,,Draco" I smiled, blushing a little. He smiled down at me, proud of himself. He leaned down to give me a peck on my forehead and I closed my eyes, not being able to hold back the wide smile, that was forming on my lips.
,,I love you, darling." He whispered as his face was close to mine.
,,I love you more." I smiled and kissed his cheek. He smiled cheekily, making me chuckle.
Oh, how loved this boy.
After a long while, noises were heard from behind Draco, in the distance. We looked there and a few people were walking our way. Draco let go of me to step next to me as the men in black walked towards us, probably having apparated here.
,,(y/n) (y/l/n)" one said and I looked at them confused.
,,Yes?" I managed to mutter.
,,It was your father's demand to get you home." He continued and I looked back to Draco, who was narrowing his eyes at those men and not looking at me.
,,What- what even do you mean?" I said quietly and the man sighed, apparently not pleased with any of this.
,,We need to bring you away."
,,I don't understand what's that supposed to mean?" I asked again, stuttering a little as I still looked confused. ,,I'm staying at Hogwarts."
The man, who had spoken, stepped forward, but stopped as Draco pointed his wand at him. ,,Don't you dare touch her." Draco hissed, standing next to me. The man stared at Draco, before the other one in the back began to speak.
,,We just need to get this done, boy. We won't cause you harm, Malfoy, we'll just bring this lady to her father."
Draco and I both knew how evil and cruel my father is. So, he didn't let me go.
One man sighed again. ,,You don't give me a choice." He said calmly, before getting his wand out with a single quick move. Though Draco was faster, casting a spell. He moved me behind him as spells were thrown here and there. Then, after the men were on the ground, he turned to me, cupping my cheeks.
,,You alright?" He asked, panting.
,,Yes." I gulped, my chest going up and down in a quick pace as I looked down at the men.
,,It's all okay." He whispered, hugging me and placing my head on his chest and his on mine. He parted and took a few steps. ,,Let's- go back. Alright?" He asked and I nodded fast. You could hear the music again, now that it was silent.
I began walking, wanting to catch up with Draco, since he was a few steps ahead of me. He turned his head back to me to check up on me, before his eyes widened slightly. I stopped. He speed-walked towards me, wand in his hand.
,,(y/n), no!" He shouted and from there, it was all so fast, yet so slow.
,,Avada Kedavra!" Was the only thing I heard loudly.
Draco's face was right in front of me now, his hands holding my arms so tight, it almost hurt. His back faced the men, who had stood back up. My eyes were wide as I looked at his face.
He fell.
And just like that the others disappeared, knowing they just killed the son of the great Lucius Malfoy, a powerful death eater. They all left, fearful.
The street was dark, the only lights being some street lights in the distance. The slow music muffled from the cafe being heard. Draco's gaze on the night sky, his breathing slowing as I fell to my knees next to him.
My heart clenched, breath shortened. My hands began to shake as my knees buckled, struggling to keep me up. I felt so, so weak. My lips trembled as I held back the urge to cry loudly, to sob my soul out. Instead, I moved my endlessly shaking hand to his face, touching his cheek ever so slightly, as if he was fragile. My eyes burned as my vision blurred due to the amount of tears.
His face was pale. Very, very pale. He was looking up to the sky, seeming to become lifeless. His forehead was covered in sweat. His lips lost their colour.
I opened my mouth, though couldn't speak. Nothing came out. Shivers ran down my skin, all over my body, making me feel colder and colder, second by second.
Draco began to stop trembling a little. His hand, which I was holding, became heavier and I looked down, eyebrows furrowed. It fell on my lap. I looked back up, feeling like my insides were withdrawing. His eyes, that were just looking up, moved down, as his whole body stopped moving. My eyes widened slowly. He didn't move anymore.
He was cold like ice, as still as a stone, his grey eyes became dark. It went all so fast, yet so painfully slow.
,,Draco" I whispered, my voice cracking awfully painfully. I raised my hand back up to his face, still with all hope. ,,Draco, please." I muttered as my eyes looked in his. My shaking hand moved his hair out of his face softly. I bent down, placing my head on his collarbone as I cried, still holding his hand tightly, though mine shaking as his wouldn't make a single move.
