*I apologize for this chapter*

Time slowed. All around me, Cybermen were falling to the ground with black liquid leaking from the corners of their "eyes". They're crying. I killed them. I forgot those thoughts as soon as I found the Doctor. He was lying on the ground, pale, and covered in blood. My hearts stopped for a moment, I felt dizzy like I could pass out. The feeling passed, but I still felt like I was moving in slow motion. I tried to run over to him but kept tripping over the blurry bodies of the dead Cybermen. Why are they blurry? Oh, I'm crying? I made it to the Doctor but before I touched him, a man yanked me back.

"You need to get out of here."

"But, he's hurt... He needs me..." I whispered. The man shook his head.

"He's dead. Go." I broke down. The man left me after I started hitting him. I screamed at the Doctor to wake up until my voice became hoarse.

"Wake UP! DOCTOR! Don't leave me! Open your eyes!" He didn't move. Finally, I lied down with my ear on his chest and listened. Everyone was gone now except for the Doctor and I, so I could hear the faint heart beat. One, two. I sat up quickly. Only one heart is working. I have to get him back to the TARDIS! I couldn't carry him by myself. I listened again. The beat seemed to be getting weaker. Tears sprang to my eyes again. I looked around and noticed a man standing on the other side of the room, looking at us.

"Help me... Please!" I cried. The man nodded, grimly picked up the Doctor, and carried him out of a door that I hadn't noticed. I zoned out following him, my tears were all dried up. Eventually, we made it back to the TARDIS and he set the Doctor inside and turned to walk away. Then he paused.

"Hana, don't tell him about me." He pushed a button on something he wore on his wrist and disappeared. Back in the TARDIS, she helped me figure out how to restart his heart. She had given me some needle to stop his bleeding, which worked immediately. Some regeration energy came from her and surrounded him, to heal the wound a little bit since I don't think I could give him stitches. When we were done, and he had more color to his face, I decided to wash some of the blood off of him. I got a warm damp cloth and removed his shirt. Seeing the wound, I gasped. It was a bullet wound on his shoulder. I knew the one of the Cybermen had shocked him, stopping his heart but, not that one of the humans he had been saving had shot him. I hadn't worked out where the blood had come from, but I certainly hadn't thought that. Burning with anger, I washed the blood away. How could they do this to him? He was just trying to save them!
"Don't be angry, they were just scared." My head snapped up. He was awake but he looked in pain. Tears that I thought were dried up streamed down my face again. He sat up quickly and hugged me. I sobbed into his shoulder.

"They tried to tell me you were dead... They tried to make me leave you. I thought..." He gripped me tighter.

"Shh, I'm okay." He pushed me back. "See, okay?" He tried to smile but it was more a grimace. I reached over and got a shot that the TARDIS told me was pain relief. I injected it into his arm and he relaxed a bit. Then he looked up at my face in alarm.

"Where did all that blood on you come from? They didn't hurt you did they?!" He said. I shook my head and his face turned pink.

"It's yours." He looked cute when he was embarrassed, I noticed. I got up to leave and he touched my hand.

"Where are you going?" He looked worried. I gave a soft laugh.

"To clean up a little bit. I'll be right back." He relaxed and nodded. By the time I walked to my room, he was fast asleep.
