I walk in and notice pictures of people I have never met, all over the walls. The TARDIS named them for me.

"Susan, Sara-Jane, Martha, Donna, Jack , Mickey, and... Rose." She told me as I looked at the last few pictures. Something must have happened to Rose since the TARDIS sounded sad. I surveyed the rest of the room. The bed looked hardly slept in and there were some notes all over the place. I couldn't quite read them at first but then I realized they were in Gallifreyan. The TARDIS instantly translated them for me. Some of them were reminder about parts that needed to be fixed but a few were reminders about special dates, places and times he needed to go visit. Someone cleared their throat behind me. I spun around and felt my face turn a deep red when I realized I had been caught sneaking around in his room.

"I... Was looking for you, and um... The door was open, so I just walked in." The last few words were a whisper. He smiled sadly.

"Its okay, Hana. The TARDIS probably told you who they were." He said, nodding towards the pictures.

"Yes but, Doctor, she sounded so sad. What happened to them?" When I asked that his eyes became darker.

"Some of them left, some died. One of them doesn't even remember who I am..." He trailed off.

"What about Rose?" He flinched like I had slapped him. I immediately wanted to hug him, the pain in his eyes was unbearable.

"She got trapped. During a battle. There was an alternate universe and she almost died but, her father saved her and brought her there. The only way there was sealed awhile ago." He was sitting on the bed, so I sat next to him.

"I'm sorry. She must have been special to you." I couldn't help the touch of envy in my voice, even though I truly was sorry. What's happening to me? I barely know him and acting all jealous over his old girlfriend, or whatever she was to him.
"Yeah, she was. But so are you. After all, now I'm not the last one anymore." He gave a halfhearted laugh. I had been staring at my hands in my lap, when he gently pulled my chin up so I was looking in his eyes. My hearts fluttered for a moment before I mentally slapped myself. Pull yourself together! You don't even know anything about him!

"You're crying." He said, snapping me out of my trance.

"What?" I brushed my hand under my eye and sure enough, it was wet.

"I don't know why I'm doing that... I'm not sad..." I said to him, causing him to give a small smile. He stood up and I followed suit. We walked back to the console room, him walking behind me. Right before I could pick a location, he grabbed my hand and shook his head with a huge real smile.

"My turn. Hold on!" He shouted and we took off. When we landed, he ran over and threw open the door.

"Welcome to Apalapucia, Hana!"
