Emma was the last to leave my room, and as soon as she disappeared around the corner, I slipped on shoes and ran out the door with the letter.

"Mom! I'm going to Jane's!" I yelled as I ran out the door. Once in the yard I turned around and saw a large flash from Emma's window. I hesitates before turning again and running to the spot where the man saved me that day. When I got there, I stopped and looked around, but nothing was there. I sat on the curb and tore open the letter. The page was blank except for one word. Listen.

I obeyed. At first there was nothing but when I was about to give up I heard it. The whooshing noise when the man had disappeared accompanied by a strong gust of wind. I stood quickly and spun around on my heels before I saw it. Just like the man had said. A 1960s Police Box had appeared out of thin air behind me. I walked up to it and the door slowly creaked open. The man that saved me walked out but he looked different, younger. He didn't notice me at first and almost knocked me over.

"Oh, sorry. Um, would you mind telling me the date?" He questioned.

"Its June 11, 2015. Don't you rem-" he interrupted me as he turned to the box.

"Why'd you bring me here? Everything is calm, no Daleks or Cybermen or.. Anything." He continued to mutter under his breath about something I couldn't understand.

"Hello? Doctor? Don't you remember me?" He spun around quickly and looked at me.

"I don't think we've met... How do you know who I am?" He asked curiously.  He thought for a moment and came to a realization. "Oh, it could've been a future version of me,  I suppose.."

"Future you?" I replied, definitely confused. His head tilted to the side a little.

"Weelll... I must not have told you about my TARDIS, she-." He was cut off by a loud noise. We both looked down and I realized it was the watch that had fallen out of my pocket. He picked it up before I could.

"It can't be." He breathed, turning the watch over. "Where did you get this?!" He demanded aggressively.

"M-my mother gave it to me..." I stuttered, suddenly frightened of him and his change in tone. His gaze softened when he realized what he had done.

"I'm sorry. I've just been... alone for a long time." He sighed, giving the watch back. His eyes lit up suddenly.

"Would you like to come with me?" I looked up in surprise at the man I had just really met. His eyes were so sad, and much too old for his face. I knew then that he would never hurt me on purpose, and that Emma must have wanted me to go with him.

"O-okay." I agreed. He beamed.

"Well then... What was your name?"

"Hana."

"Well then, allons-y Hana!" He laughed.
