I was sitting on my bed, playing with my phone, when there was a quiet knock on the door.
"Come in!" I shouted putting my phone back into my pocket. The door creaked open and Emma popped her head inside. She took a few steps through my doorway and stood there awkwardly, staring at her feet.
"Emma?" Her head snapped up and her eyes narrowed suspiciously.
"How do you know my name?" She questioned. I sighed, trying to come up with a way to tell her who I was. Remembering some photos I took before I regenerated, I pulled them out and showed her. She gasped and her eyes filled with tears.
"Th-thats my baby sister... She went missing on her eighteenth birthday..." She glanced down at her vortex manipulator. "I got this to find her but it obviously didn't work-" I cut her off.
"But it did!" She looked at me, confused.
"I'm Hana, Em. It's me!" I did a little jazz hand thing."Surprise!" I thought she might faint again, but she sat down as I explained what had happened.
"So your telling me, a future version of me told you to go traveling with some crazy man? And it made you turn into some freaking alien that changes bodies?" She sat with her head in her hands.
"You believe me though, don't you Em?" She nodded then shook her head.
"I don't know what to believe. Prove to me that its you." I thought for a moment.
"That necklace you're wearing? Mom gave it to you on your eighteenth birthday. And, when you were thirteen and I was eight, we built a fort in the backyard and lived in it for the whole summer. You carved our names into the wall closest to the house."
Emma smiled at me, finally convinced that I was her little sister. She was playing with her necklace and I got a good look at it. White point star. The words popped into my head. What?
"Doctor!" I called. He came running in, worried when he saw my confused expression.
"Hana? Are you okay?" I smiled to help calm him a little. Then I pointed to Emma's necklace.
"Doctor, do you know what that is. Something in my mind said it's called a 'white point star'." He ran in front of her and held out his hand so she could give him the necklace. She handed it to him reluctantly and he muttered a thank you. We all walked back to the console room where there was more light. I laughed when he put on a pair of black frame glasses.
"What are you laughing at?" I could hear the smile in his voice even though his face was so serious.
"Nothing, you just look kind of cute with those on." He looked back at me shocked. His mouth seemed to stop working for a moment before he turned back to the gem.
"Yes, anyways, this is a white point star, a diamond only found on Gallifrey." He turned to Emma. " That's where Time Lords-"
"Or Ladies!" I cut in.
"...or Ladies, come from. Does this open in any way, or move?" He asked her.
"Not... That I know of. But, "she brightened." Something happens when you shine a light through it." The Doctor nodded and set it on top of a light on the console.
" Ive never done it for long, I always stop when it starts to burn me." We turned to her at the same time. It burns? He shrugged and turned on the light. Instantly, regeneration energy flowed from the gem. The Doctor turned off the light as soon as he realized what it was.
"Doctor, was that..." He nodded. "She could be one, too?"
"If that's what she wants to do... Emma. That gem, its like Hana's fob watch. Did you tell her about it?" I nod. " okay, well, you could become a Time Lor-Lady. I mean, if you want to..." She shook her head no, quickly.
"I don't think I could handle that, sorry. But... Could I travel with you? I just found my sister, I'm not ready to leave her yet." She asked him. I looked at him hopefully. He looked down at me and grinned.
"Of course." I hugged him and felt him chuckle. He wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on top of my head. We stayed like that a long time before Em cleared her throat behind me. We parted quickly, both of us blushing. She giggled at us.
"Come on, Hana! We have some catching up to do!" I laughed and we went back to my room. She gave me a big hug.
We talked for hours until we fell asleep on my floor.
