Chicken, lamb, beef, pork, Fish, shrimps, crab, oyster, prawns, all these sorts of foods were placed in front of him. Despite his urge to show tantrum, he could not throw all the foods because his stomach growled and he soon realised how hungry he was.

He hadn’t had anything since he last had his breakfast. He looked at the camera and sneered. ‘Didn’t they just say how he was observed since he was child then don’t they already know that he mixed sea food with every thing?’, he complained. Other than sea food the only thing he liked here was chicken. He could not digest lamb, pork or beef.

He grabbed chopstick in annoyance and started munching on the sea food. By the time he burped out loud, he noticed only those things he could not eat were left and he had gulped down every thing else leaving behind bones and shells.

He groaned when he heard the voice that made him jump, “We appreciate your cooperation, Subject M1 please step back further from the spot, sit on the bed and wait for further instructions”.

River glared at the camera for being called “Subject M1” for the zillionth time and kicked the trays to show his anger then quietly went to the bed with a smug look on his face. The screen lit up once again and the sound was just as loud then it stopped and when he opened his eyes every thing was clean. There was a black box placed on the floor.

“Subject M1, step forward then take out the content in the box and put it on”, ordered the voice. River could disobey and be one of those people in movies who yelled and refused everything said to them but in the end those characters were forced to do all those things anyways, so he didn’t bother wasting anyone’s time.

He walked to the middle and picked up the box and after fishing out the thing inside, he threw it at the screen then clicked his tongue when the screen didn’t even crack. “My name is River! So stop calling me subject M1 or giving me this bracelet that says I’m subject M1”, he said with his arm folded.

“Please flip the bracelet if that is your wish and you can see your name written on it then walk in straight line to the wall on your right from the spot”, instructed the voice and River followed. He wore the white bracelet with his name on it then stood in front of the squishy wall which soon vibrated and opened upwards like that of a car, Gullwing door.

River walked out as quickly as he could then looked at his left then right in alarmed state but there was no one. The passage or corridor had similar cushion like thing sticking out of the wall and floor and they were all white, lit up by light. The voice said to walk straight on either way then turn into one way passage which he did and walked into another room.

This room looked more like dentist’s office without basin attached. Everything looked sterile and organised. He thought he would be probed with injections but the voice asked to once again walk up to the wall on the right. When he did, it opened up in similar fashion but his eyes widened because of how big this room was.

Blue walls reflected lights and shadows of the water in a long and wide swimming pool. River didn’t walk further, he suspected an ugly looking slimy creature would jump out and scare the shit out of him but to his surprise, he heard a familiar noise then a fishy silhouette jumped up from the water making high pitched squeaking sound.

“Daisy!?”, river yelled then walked up to the pool. Daisy swam near the edge of the pool to get petted then splashed water at River and squeaked as if laughing from being cheeky. River finally smiled genuinely and even teared up a bit. He was more than happy to see her and thanked the people for not bringing out his “Caretakers or trainer”, because he was hundred percent sure that he would be livid if he saw them.

“Sub... River, please get into the pool and swim for a while and even try holding out your breath as long as you did last time. Doing so we would like to monitor if there are any changes in you since passing the uncharted stage”, said the voice.
