Erina’s lungs were boiling from lack of oxygen and her head was pounding. She watched as the boy’s mouth moved and strong vibrations entered her body through River and flew to the locked hands. A minute had passed since they started the ritual and her ability to hold her breath was reaching it’s limit.

She felt very tempted to let a small breath slip through her mouth and in her nose. But she had to hold on until she felt her soul being ripped out of her body or else she would pass out without knowing if this was even worth all the trouble. It was a risk, making three young and two still new Sirens to perform such dangerous ritual but she was cornered.

Those people had only needed one chance to take over and now they had it. No matter what she told them, they would have kicked her out from her own plans when she was this close. She looked at the young boy in front of her who had started all of this and then she felt tired. She was exhausted from all these years of hard work. She felt tremendous pain in her chest and her head then she didn’t fight the darkness, she let it in.

There was bright light all around her, too bright that it made her blind. She looked down to her hands and there was nothing but a transparent halo. Suddenly her eyes adjusted to the light and when she looked up, she saw a small black dot on the white sky. As she watched the dot, it grew bigger and bigger then two wide and lengthy black wings spread and a figure rolled along the wings and glided towards her.

She backed couple of her non existent steps and watched as the creature gracefully land before her. The creature was magnificent and his handsomely features was beyond this world, his wings were still widely spread and they slowly flapped then adjusted behind his back.

The creature was wearing fascinating clothings, his dark all black eyes watched her up and down, “Great ! it’s you again. Having fun jumping bodies are we?”, he said as he folded his hands on the chest.

He circled her, “Was it about hundred years ago in human time when we first met?”, He asked. Then his eyes changed into slits, like snake.

Their one sided talk halted when there was a loud thunder and the all white place started coating in black. He turned back to Erina, “What a fascinating soul! You don’t know how to die do you? You don’t seem like a demon but your vibrations are higher than humans. A forgotten species perhaps! How rebellious of your kind! No wonder only I got attracted to your vibrations, if it was my mother”, he shivered then looked at her one last time.

“Keep on rebelling! If you see my mom next time, tell her we are friends”, his black feathery wings spread and flapped as his feet left the ground, “My name is Haeil, nice seeing you again. I guess, take care now!”, he yelled and flew like a bullet into the slowly darkening sky then in a flash every thing turned dark.

Erina felt her hands being held in a firm grip as her body was being dragged. Strong cold currents slapped her entire front and her eye lids fluttered. As soon as she opened them, water hit her eyes causing it to burn and she strongly inhaled. Water flew into her nose which also burned then she felt tingling in her neck.

“She’s waking up! Fuck! It worked!”, said a familiar voice to her left. Erina’s eyes were fully opened and all the senses in her body slowly returned. She felt huge pain in her chest and a headache tormented her. She groaned as she felt tingling and pain all over her body, the numbness slowly disappearing.

“We can rest over here for a while, come on”, Riley said and pulled River’s hand along with him but stopped when there was another tug and they turned to his right to see Wayde who was holding Erina’s right hand had swam to River’s side and had grabbed his right hand as well, “No!... Not far enough”, he said. His sentence was getting better.
