I may be pathetic.
Stupid for trusting and loving every time.
But it's not because I want to,
It just happens, I can't help it.
Maybe I'm not supposed to be happy,
Maybe the universe is just showing me something,
But whatever it is,
Is it worth the pain of thinking someone loves you when they really love someone else?
Doesn't it hurt to realize that you never mattered?
Don't you just wish you could go back in time and change it all?
It's sad isn't it?
Putting yourself out there just to get hurt.
They wonder why people are broken and single,
They pretend to understand but they don't,
They just want to find a way to get in,
To hurt you.
What's the point of loving and being loved,
If you're just going to turn into strangers all over again?
