The way he can put a smile on my face,
Make me frown quickly still amazes me,
I realized he is no longer mine,
He never was,
The pain of seeing him in her arms stung me in the chest,
I shattered that day I saw her kiss him,
That should be me,
I thought,
I should be holding his hands,
That should be me making him laugh,
That should be me,
But in the end,
He chose her like he always did.
