What do you want me to say?
That I love you?
That you're the one for me?
That when I'm around you I feel happier than I've ever been?
Is that what you want?
I've loved you from the first time I saw you,
I didn't fall for your looks,
I fell for you.
I thought that you'd love me back,
But I guess I was wrong,
I guess society always sends people like you my way.
How could you do that to me?
After I explained all my pain to you,
You did the very thing you promised you wouldn't.
But the funny thing is,
I knew, I've always known,
Deep down I knew you didn't want me,
But I let you in anyway.
I gave you the fucking gun
And you shot me right in the fucking chest.
I knew you weren't any good,
But I thought I could change you,
That we'd be happy,
I was wrong, so very wrong.
