She told him to close his eyes,
He looked at her searching for the amusement in her eyes,
He show none that she was serious,
So he did,
"What do you see?" she asked,
"Nothing" he replied
"Now picture me in your life, you love me and I break your heart"
She saw as the tears forced itself to escape from his eyes,
As he held his mouth trying to keep the sobs from escaping,
He shot his eyes open,
With the tears still pouring out of his eyes,
He shouted, " Why would you do that to me!"
She smiled sadly,
As she replied,
" That's what you did to me, I wanted you to understand how it hurts"
" And how hard it is for me to not love you as I remember our memories"
As he tried to grab for her,
She pulled away,
"I'm sorry!" he shouted
"I never knew you were hurting this much!"
"It's okay," she replied,
As the tears tried to escape seeing the person she loved cry,
But she remembered he was the one who broke her too,
She looked into his eyes fiercely,
"I forgive you and I hate it how I still love you and how your touch still makes me feel as good as it use to and how quickly it broke me"
"Thank you! thank you!"
He ran to her and tried to kiss her,
"But I can't ! I can't feel that pain again just please just let me go!
He watched as she left,
He regretted the day he hurt her,
Because he had lost the one person who truly loved him,
And she lost her reason for existing.
