She almost ended her life,

She almost lost hope,

But he held her hand,

Wiped away her tears,

Promised he would stay forever,

But he did the exact thing she begged him not to do,

He was the one who mended her broken heart,

And broke it the same way he promised to love it,

He left and never looked back,

She was broken,

But she waited,

Waited to see if he would come back,

But he never did,

She tried to move on

 He finally came back,

But she had gotten cold,

Locked away her heart in her own icy tower,

Not even him could tear it down,

And they both knew,

So, he stopped trying,

In the end they were both broken,

If only he had been faithful enough and kept his promise.
