Niall

Hours had past since Mills woke up and from what I could tell she was doing alot better. Eleanor and Sara both had came to visit her as well as take Duke home with them as i was going to stay overnight with Millie. I didn't want to take any riss of her falling more ill overnight and me not being there. 

After Sara and Eleanor took Duke home Sara came back with food.

"Sara you have literally saved me from starvation.  I love you " Mills said.

Millie motioned Sara to come lie on her bed, So she did. Their friendship was truly unbreakable.  They have been through everything.  Deaths, births,  weddings,  school, prom everything you can imagine a bestfriend being there for Sara and Mills have done. They loved each other with every bone in their body. Mills used to love me like that,  now I'm not even sure she loves me.

"Niall take a picture,  we're cute" Sara giggled as millie sat there in annoyance.

"S what is with you and capturing every moment on your phone" Millie said.

"memories duhhh"

I took the picture quickly before Millie could shout at me for taking too long.

"lemme see" Sara shouted as she grabbed the phone from my hand "awe mills we look cute" she said showing millie the picture.

She rolled her eyes and continued eating her sushi.

"Well Mrs & Mr Horan i best be off and help Eleanor look after you're little prince"

"Sara thank you so much for the food and for looking after Duke" I thanked her.

"Give him a big kiss from mummy" Millie added as Sara left.

"Will do. I'll call you in the morning.  love you" Millie shouted the same three words back to her and then the room filled with silence.

"You know Niall just because I'm mad at you dosnt mean i don't love you" I looked up at her in confusion "Harry told me you think I don't love you anymore. Niall it takes more than 3 months to fall out of love with someone. And yes eventhough I kinda really hate you alot i somehow still seem to fall in love with you more each day." I was in shock. were these words actually coming out of Millies mouth or was it all just in my head? "On our wedding day i vowed to love you with every bone in my body and I promise you I do."

"so you forgive me?" I asked

"I didn't say that" she sniggered quitely.

"Then what? Do you want a divorce or something? "

She laughed "Do you really think I would have said all of that if I wanted to get a divorce? " I shook my head. "I wonder every day why you cheated on my. I blame myself because I don't want to believe that you could ever hurt me like this.  Then i come back into reality and tell myself it was nothing I did it's just who you are and I should never forgive you. Niall I've tried to leave since I confronted you but I cant. I love you too much to hurt you like that."

"I love you too much to  ever hurt you like how I've hurt you this time. You're everything I could ever want Mills. You make me so happy and Little Duke he's amazing and I'm so grateful he's ours. I want him to grow up with happy parents. Millie I love you."

"I love you too Niall"  She leaned towards me and kissed me.  "I've fallen in love with you all ovet again. " she added as we pulled away.

Our faces were both covered in big smiles, this was the first time in ages a genuine smile lay on my face.

Millie

I was let out of hospital the day after Niall and I made amends and from then on there our life has been perfect. The way i pictured it being once Duke came, it was finally all coming true.

We had El, Louis, Sara & Harry over for dinner as a thank you for looking after Duke whilst I was in the hospital. 

"well Harry and I have some news we'd like to share" Sara said as I cleared the table.

Louis motioned Sara to carry on.

"We're engaged" Harry let out after they built the tension up.

"Finally" Niall shouted "I thought he'd never ask" he added.

We all congratulated them and then S, El & I went out onto the patio to chat. It was freezing out so we were all in sweatpants and heavy jumpers and jackets.

"why no ring S?" I asked her looking at the empty finger.

"Well he wasn't going to ask me. he said it was just spur of the moment kinda thing."

"well that's cute" Eleanor said sweetly.

We gossiped for about 30 minutes made a phone call to Josie and my Mum telling them the good news until the cold got unbearable and we went inside to join the boys.

The kids must have woken up because Louis was sitting with Lola and Niall with Duke.

I nudged Sara "You're next"
