after another 5 hours of waiting hope came out of surgery. she still wasnt awake but at least she was stable.

" the surgery went will however her heart stopped twice but we maneged to revive her, clearly" hopes doctor said

"thank you, very much!" mum said crying

"do you think it will happen again" dad said

" sir at this moment in time its very hard to tell but there is a chance."

"oh my god, no" mum cried not for joy this time.

"I'm sorry madame, but just remember she is stable"

"for now" i whispered under my breath

niall must of heard me because he looked at me funny.

hope started to wake up hours after the doctor came in and i made my inappropriate comment, which i dont know why i made.

"hope? darling can you here me" mum whispered

"millie" hope croaked

she moved her hand and gripped on to mine then she went back to sleep.

sara hated her little sister me el and josie never knew why, they always would fight each other, call each other names and just be proper bitches to each other.

" no one is looking after the other 3 are they?"

i looked down at mine and hopes hand and just smiled.

"ok mum but come back soon"

mum and dad both left so it was only me sara el and niall. i told them all to leave because they had been here for over 24 hours and it wasnt fair.

"just home shower and get changed if you dont want to go"

i didnt know what to say so i just said " i love you to Niall"

we kissed each other and then we heard an awwww. we pulled away and looked at hope, she was awake the whole time

" what did you see" niall asked

i burts out laughing. i realised something, i was still holding hopes hand. cute!

"ask her" hope whisperd into nialls ear

i hugged him tightly then kissed him lightly on the lips. i tuned round to see hopes heart moniter was beebing. her heart stopped. i pressed the button. the doctors came rushing in and told us to get out.

"get out now!"

the doctor let me stay in the room and i made sure i was still holding hopes hand. Niall called my mum straught away. she was here within 10 minutes.

" mrs and mr fairley"

" im so sorry we did everything we could"

i just sat on the chair at hopes bet tears streaming down my face. mum,dad and niall entered the room. i didnt even look up, my hand had not moved from hopes

"it really happend didnt it?" dad said

"it juust cant be, thats my baby girl" mum said crying

i felt large hands on my back

"it ok babe, i promise, i will be here to help you through this tough time"

i looked down at her face. people would think its wrong but i took a picture. thay all stared at me like what are you doing

"its so i can be reminded that when im feeling low i can remeber her last smile."

it brought me to tears saying that. there was a knock on the door it was sara and el
