"Its a long story"

"Oh I have time " I said pointing to the couch.

I gave Lola some toys to play with and then sat down next to Louis.

"Go on then" I said.

"Well I was out last night as you know" I nodded "there was this girl"

"The girl you had sex with?" I asked.

He nodded his head in shame "Well she was with some guy, and I didn't want her to be with him" He carried on telling me the story but I kind of figured out how it went. He went and said something to the guy, the guy punched him a few times and thats why he looks like this.

"At least you got the girl" I joked.

a small smile crept upon his face.

"Well I best be off" He said getting up.

"What are you going to say when they start asking you how you got all those cuts and a black eye?"

"I'll have to just be embarrassed" he said with a fake smile on his face.

"You got the cuts because you fell into that bush outside your house and I gave you the black eye by opening a door into your face the other day when we went for lunch."

"Doesn't it sound a bit fishy?"

"Niall will phone me later to ask what really happened and I'll tell him the same thing, dont worry" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you" he nodded then said his goodbyes to Lola.

"Daddy will see you soon lolabear"

She waved her hand back at him and then he closed the door.

I picked her up and gave her a kiss on her forehead, she giggled very cutely then I took her into the kitchen. I started to make myself and Lola a snack then my phone rang. It was James' manager Lacey who was acting as my manager until I find my own.

"Hiya Lace" I said happily

"Hi love, hows everything?"

"The usual, busy" I laughed.

"Well things are only going to get busier"

"Thanks for the reminder" I joked

"Well if you're looking to destress I have something you might like"

"Go on" I said intrigued

"Well Big Machine Records just called me"

"Aren't they in America or something?" I asked

"Nashville, Tennessee to be exact" I could actually feel her smile through the phone.

"what did they want?"

"They want you"

"Is this a joke" i laughed slightly in shock

"They heard you're song with James and let me tell you they loved it. They want you to go over for a couple of months so that you can write for some of there artists"

"Thats huge" I was actually shaking.

"Thats not all, they want you to write with some of the best songwriters in the country and record your own songs and some of the songs you write when you're out there and maybe put them onto your own record"

I stopped for a second. I put my phone on the counter and took my surroundings in. This was my 4th offer to a record label since the song came out, why was this one any different?
