Hawks POV

She gets out of the car and I watch her walk into his apartment. I can't help but wonder why did she go to him instead of going home, why didn't she want to stay with me instead?

Seeing how upset she was with what I did to Demetri means she won't be happy with what I did last night. I slept on the couch because I didn't want to wake her when the boys came to the house and we left. Luckily, she woke up 20 minutes after I got home. Miyagi-Do deserved it. Just like Kreese said,

The fight isn't over until I say it is.

Lillians POV

I don't knock on his door, instead, I just walk in. I see him blacked out on his couch with empty cores banquets bottles surrounding him. For the next 20 minutes, I clean up the place. Picking up the empty bottles, cleaning the dishes, and make him breakfast for when he wakes up. I'll never be able to fall asleep with my thoughts running wild in my head.

Johnny was always like a father to me. Sometimes I think it's because he messed up with Robby that I was his second chance. He saw how confused I was when my dad left he was there to pick up the pieces.

I see him waking up and he looks at me, confused. "What the hell are you doing in my apartment?"

"Nice to see you too, Johnny. I didn't want to go home" he nods and gets up and looks confused.

"Why is my apartment so....clean?"

"I was bored, and you were out. And it desperately needed it, " I laugh.

"Oh. So why are you really here, kid?" He knows I normally come here to escape. I explain everything that went down at the doctor's, but I leave the part out about my drinking. I tell him that Hawk dropped me off and what he did. I get the same run down from him I get from everyone else about getting chemo. Which is exactly what I didn't want.

"Well, it is my choice." I sit down on his couch and turn the tv on.

"You're right, but are you really going to back down from this fight? I mean, do you really want to be a pussy?" he says, grabbing the remote from my hand. "I'm talking to you Lillian"

"Ughhh. Fine, I'll get the stupid chemo, god"

"Good, now are you going to school or not," he asks. Shit, I forgot about that.

"No, I'm staying here or wherever you want to go"

"Great. I'll text your mom you're here" I nod and he walks into the other room. My mom drops my medic bag off and I just hang with Johnny at his place.

Time skip to practice

I haven't talked to hawk since last night. He doesn't get it and he's changing for the worst. Johnny and I walk into the dojo and see Kreese sitting in his office.

"Lillian, are we joining practice today?" Shit, I forgot I was supposed to join. Johnny looks at me, confused.

"No, she's not practicing. She isn't allowed," he says. I roll my eyes.

"That's too bad," Kreese says. I keep quiet. Johnny walks out and heads to the back room.

"Are you really going to let that stop you?" Kreese asks. I shake my head no. He nods. "good. We will talk after class" I nod and walk out to see Miguel walking in. I feel bad going behind Johnny's back to learn karate, but they act like I'm all cancer and that's the only thing about me. I need to learn how to defend myself and not depend on other people.
