Chapter 31

I gave Hawk my other air pod and we both sit at the table listening to music. 

"You know your music sucks, right?" he says. 

I gasp, "What are you talking about. Post Malone is amazing" he laughs and kisses me. 

"You coming to next class?" he asks. 

"No, it's gym. I can't participate" 

"I heard we're going outside. I'll walk around with you" he says. Does he not know that I have lung cancer and I get out of breath easily. 

"Fine. I'll come out and watch but if I don't like it, I'm coming back here" he smiles at me.

"Great! I'm going to go to the locker room to get changed. So ill see you outside." I nod. He gives me back my air pod and kisses me and walks out of the room. 

I hate going to gym class, I'm watching everyone do something I can't. It sucks being on the sidelines of everything. 

Before I know it, the bell rings. I pack my stuff up and head for the gym.

I walk up to Moon in the gym and stand with her until we go outside. Moons honestly really nice so I'm hoping we can become friends without Yasmine. I need some new girlfriends because after how it's going with Tory, I don't think that's a thing anymore.

"Hey, are you participating?" I ask her. 

"Hey, girl! Nope soccer is not my thing"

"Okay great. ill stand with you" she smiles at me. I don't understand how a girl as sweet as her can be friends with Yasmine. I haven't spotted Hawk yet but my eyes do land on Miyagi do staring right at me. Demetri rolls his eyes and looks away as Sam just stars at me. 

"Take a picture, it'll last longer!" I yell over to Sam as she turns around annoyed. 

We wall walk out to the field and everyone sits on the bleachers putting their shoes on. The teacher splits them into teams of Blue and Red. Sam and Demetri are talking with a few other kids and they look like they're making a plan. I can only hear them slightly.

"They think were doormats. And besides, what's a game of soccer without some physical contact. " Sam says. What a bitch, why is she trying to start something now?

"wow," Moon says.

"What?" I turn my head to see what she's looking at. Of course, Cobra Kai walking out in a pact with Hawk as the leader. I'll admit Hawk looks hot but the rest of them just looks like douchebags. Once they reach past us I grab hawk's hand and pull him over to the side under the bleachers. 

" Wow baby, you wanna do it under the bleachers bet," He says and starts to lift up his shirt. My eyes go wide at what he means and I quickly pull his shirt down.

"Shut up, that's not what I mean. I just wanted to let you know Miyagi do is planning to like attack you guys during the game" 

"Of course they are." he scoffs.

I look down at my feet worried that somethings bad going to happen. Watching them train or anything at karate never bothered me but when it came down to an actual fight, I was always afraid someones going to get hurt. 

"Hey, ill be fine don't worry" He lifts my head up with his hand and kisses me. "Also if you ever want to do it under here, I'm totally down"

"Oh my god! Go away!" I push him away as he smirks going back to the field. 

I stand back next to Moon as she is cheering everyone on with pom-poms, now see that's a little much for gym class. Of course, Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai are both on separate teams so they're going against each other.
