He drops me off at my house and my mom's home. She's excited to see me and I know we're avoiding the conversation but I don't want to talk about it. We decided that she and I are going to drive together to Moskowitz's house.

I go to my room and pick out a sort of nice outfit. I decide on a tight black dress with a pair of white air forces. I really need new shoes.

My mom and I head out and the car ride is full of awkward silence.

"Have you made up your mind yet?"She breaks the silence. There are multiple things she could be referring to.

"About seeing my father or getting chemo?" I turn to face her. "I don't know, both," she says. "I'm getting the chemo just to make everyone happy. but I haven't decided yet about seeing dad. There's a lot of downsides with it." She smiles and nods not pushing the conversation any further. We pull up their driveway and we both get out of the car. Mom knocks on their door while I stand behind her. A minute later, Mrs. Moskowitz opens the door, welcoming us in.

"Lillian! I feel like I haven't seen you in forever! How are you doing?" She pulls me into a hug. "I'm ok. Doing the best I can." She nods, "Eli! The Hills are here!" she yells up the stairs. She puts her hand on my back and takes me to the table, "you can sit here and Eli will sit next to you" I thank her and sit down.

Eli comes running down the steps with his hair down, not in a mohawk. It looks so good like that, reminds me of old Eli a little bit.

"Take a picture it'll last longer" He smiles and kisses the top of my head. "You look beautiful".
I smile, "Thanks. I love your hair." he frowns, "Thanks. My mom made me keep it down for dinner. She doesn't like the mohawk." He sits down next to me and grabs my hand. My mom is sitting across from us and gives us a confused look staring at the both of us. Mrs. Moskowitz just smiles walking out of the kitchen.

My mom gets up to go help, Mrs. Moskowitz, in the kitchen which gives me the perfect chance, I turn his head to me and kiss him. He smiles and kisses back.
I pull away for a second, "Did you tell your mom about us?" I ask. "Yea, before you guys came over. She was very excited." I laugh.

"What about you? I'm guessing no."

"Not yet. Probably tonight though. We haven't been talking recently." He frowns.

"Hey, it's not you, I promise. We just have a lot going on." He smiles and kisses me.

About 20 minutes into dinner someone finally speaks. "So Lillian how has everything been with the treatments?" Mrs. Moskowitz asks.

"Not so well. Um, the medication isn't working as fast as they had hoped. They are mainly relying on chemo but I've only had one round. I get my second one tomorrow so I'm probably going to feel horrible after that" I say.

"I'm so sorry Lill." Eli puts his hand on mine.
"Thank, me too"

"So, Eli tells me you guys are officially a thing?"
My mom drops her fork and looks at both of us with wide eyes. "What?" she says.

"Yes, mom. Eli and I are dating. I was going to tell you but we have not been talking" she nods, "Well I'm happy for you too. Your mom and I have been waiting for this for a while" She tells us.

"It's about time Eli asked her out. He's had the biggest crush on her since they met!" Mrs. Moskowitz says and they laugh.

"Mom!" Eli says slightly embarrassed. I smile at him.

After dinner over, Eli and I are left at the table by ourselves. "Want to go upstairs?" he asks. I nod and let our moms know that we'll be in his room. He grabs my hand and takes me upstairs. He sits on the bed and I stand in between his legs.

"sooo" He says.

I laugh, "Soooo"

"Do you want to sneak out with me tonight?"

"And go where?"

"Just walk around and then come back here. I just wanna spend time with you"

"You're so sweet. Of course. Can you pick me up?" he nods and lays his head on my chest. I run my fingers through his hair, "What's wrong?" I ask him.

He lifts his head up, "Nothing. I just don't deserve you" I lean down and kiss him. He stands up and continues to kiss me back, pushing me against the wall, placing his head steadying himself above me. He moves his other hand to my throat and slips his tongue into my mouth. God that is so hot. He nibbles on my lip and smirks. I run my hands through his hair which makes him groan. I push him off of me as someone knocks on his door. His mom walks in, "I thought I told you to keep the door open, Eli." He looks back at me and his mom. "Where's Lillian?" I'm standing next to the door, far away that she can't see me. I'm standing there out of breath, blushing.

"Sorry, mom. I forgot. She's in the uh bathroom". She's nods walking away leaving the door slightly open.

He walks up to me laughing, "Don't worry we can finish that tonight" he kisses me and walks away.
