Watching a beautiful sunset while holding the hand of the one I love is one of the few things I've always been wanting to do that's written on my romantic gestures list. The look on her face as her beautiful round expressive eyes marvel the setting sun along with the serenity of this moment gives warmth in me. It's times like this wherein I wish I could have the power to control and stop time so we could relish this moment a bit more longer. I love her. I love everything about her. I love her even if she's not like me. A human. A mundane. It doesn't matter. She will always be the girl I've met at the bar whom I unexpectedly fell in love with. The girl who I want to spend the rest of my life with even if it's impossible. It's her that I want and no one else.

Pain slowly rose from my chest. How long will we be like this? What will become of me once she'd be gone? I won't survive. I want to be selfish. I want her to be with me. I will never bear it if she'll leave. But though I think of these things, it's impossible for me to keep her. And it's the impossibility of living happily ever after with her that hurts my heart so much.

I feel her squeeze my hand.

"I really appreciate the things you're doing for me.." She softly tells me. She turns to me, her eyes a bit doleful. Her hand reached for my cheek and I hold it with mine. "Stop thinking sad thoughts, Seungri.." She said pleadingly.

I let out a heavy sigh. She must've heard my thoughts.

"I'm scared, Jinn.." I tell her hoarsely. "Every moment I spent with you gives me so much joy but at the same time, it makes me feel afraid. For I know that our time being with each other is limited. You'll soon leave and I'll be left alone. I don't want for it to happen."

"Seungri.."

"Don't make me forget." I tell her, and she looked surprised with what I've said. "I know you can erase all of the memories I had with you, but please, leave those with me.. That's the only thing I can keep to always remind me of you.."

Jinnie studied my face for quite a bit and she looks pained but managed to smile. She nods her head.

"Promise me." I tell her.

"I promise.." She whispered. I don't know what goes on inside her head but I hope she wouldn't break her word.

I let out a smile. "It's getting dark. Let's head home."

We started walking away from the harbor and walked slowly towards the spot where I've parked my car with our hands entwined.

"You know, I have a dream of travelling the world." I tell her. Jinnie looks at me in wonderment which made a corner of my lip lift into a grin.

"And where would you like to go?" She asks me looking interested.

"Peru. Greece. Jordan." I answer her. "I want to see their wonders."

"That sounds fun." She tells me. "I know you'll be able to see those places someday."

I chuckle. I want to travel those places with you.. I mentally tell her. I know she'll be able to hear it but I didn't get any response. Afraid it might make her feel awkward I changed the topic to not kill the mood.

"How 'bout you? Do you dream of going somewhere too?" I ask her.

"Hmm.. That's a tough question.." She rubs her chin. "I've been to lots of places you know?" She giggles. "But.. there's this one place I want to go back to.."

My eyebrows creased out of curiosity. "And where is that?"

"Venice. I love to ride a gondola." Jinnie responded with a dreamy look in her eyes.

"That's nice. I would love to ride one of those too." I tell her. She turn her gaze at me and let out a smile.

We're now a few steps away from my car when all of a sudden I feel a sudden change in the atmosphere. It grew much darker and it's like we're the only people out in the open. The lights on the lamp posts that illuminate the area started to flicker as a gust of cold wind hit us.

I felt Jinnie's hand tremble then tightly squeezed mine. She suddenly looked alert and at the same time in a state of panic. "Jinn?"

"Something's not right." She shakes her head.

"What's wrong?" I ask her looking worried.

"Stay close to me, Seungri." She whispered.

"Jinn--"

The both of us stopped walking when a young girl suddenly appears from the back of my car. She looks like a nine year old kid and wears a tattered violet dress and worn out slippers. Her hair is in a mess and her face and arms smeared with clod. The little girl must be a beggar. She slowly walked towards us and extended a hand.

"Mister, can you give me something to eat? I'm starving.." The little girl asks me with innocent eyes.

"Sure I--"

"Seungri, don't!" Jinnie cuts me off looking agitated. "Stay away from her!" She pulls me to her back.

"Mister, please help me.. I'm really hungry.." The girl croaked and looks like she's about to cry.

"Jinnie, she's just a girl.. We should help her.."

"No, Seungri. She's not what you think she is." Jinnie gritted her teeth.

"Mister? Please.." The girl is still walking towards us while we back off. "Help me.. I'm hungry.."

"Stay away from us!" Jinnie shouted which made the girl stop walking.

The girl tilts her head to the side and stare at us for a moment.

"You're mean. Maybe I should devour you too."

My eyebrows creased. "Devour?"

"We should run." Jinnie tells me and took hold of my wrist. The little girl grinned, her innocent face suddenly shifted to a menacing one.

"Sorry but I won't let you." Her soft voice changed like that of a growling animal. My eyes widened when her small fragile body started to twitch violently like she's convulsing. Her eyes rolled backwards and become pitch black. Her fingers changed into talons. Her skin peeled off and now all I can see is grime. Razor-like teeth sprouted from her mouth. She's suddenly as big as a boulder now and started snarling at us. Terror coursed through my veins and I couldn't move. What happened to the little girl in front of us awhile ago?

"Run!" Jinnie screamed at me but my feet seemed stuck on the ground. I cannot move.

The girl, no, the creature, was about to take a leap on us but stopped when three winged creatures hit the ground one by one right in front of Jinnie and me. The strong impact of their fall made the ground crack and grumble. The newcomers stood with their backs turned to us. They glow like a ball of light, like the sun. My eyes were squinting and noticed something else. They have wings.

"Angels.." I mutter. I can't believe I'm seeing this.

The tallest one among the three of them turned to one of the other angels. "Cassiel, take them to safety. Jegudiel and I will handle the daemon."

The one called Cassiel, a beautiful female angel with long hair as white as snow turns to Jinnie and me. "Come, the both of you. You need not to worry, we're here to protect you. You're safe now."

I nod my head and tug Jinnie's arm but she didn't move. "Jinn? Come on." I tell her anxiously but she stood still.

"Rafael.." Her voice sounded aghast instead of relieved. "Rafael's here.."

Hey guys, am back with an update. Sorry but I've been terribly busy. Actually I still am but I know some of you are waiting for this. (Patiently I hope. And I thank you guys for that.
