I look at his face while he sleeps. It's been four hours since he passed out and we're now in his house, with him lying on the couch. I changed his clothes and threw out the blood soaked ones. I also cleaned the floors and any furniture or stuff that was smeared with his blood when I brought him in. He now looks peaceful and clean, with no signs of almost being killed.

The terror I've felt awhile ago when I saw him lying on the pavement almost dying had gone. What concerns me now is the moment he'll wake up and starts questionning me about what happened. He will surely remember everything, and I don't think I can lie to him. Not this time.

I gently touched his cheek with the palm of my hand and let out a sigh of relief as tears starts to well up in my eyes. For the second time I almost lost someone I hold dear. For the second time I felt fear. A feeling I wasn't even supposed to have making me weak. Maybe I am already weak. No, I have always been weak. A truth I can never deny.

"You don't know how much it terrified me when I saw you almost got killed by that unearthly creature.. I wouldn't forgive myself if I let that happen.. I'll forever resent myself if I didn't even try to protect you.." I whisper to him as I caress his cheek. He will soon know about me, about what I really am. Chances are he wouldn't believe me, might even think I'm crazy. But what's worst is that he might stay away from me. He may love me now, but will he still feel the same once he finds out the truth? But until then I will stay by his side. The moment I held him on that cold pavement I made a vow to myself that I'll always protect him. Whether he'll accept me or not, I will.

Just then another realization hits my head. If he'll find out everything about me, that would mean trouble. Another violation on the eyes of the higher beings. I will miss this one chance I got for redemption. And the worst part is, I will perish under the hands of Rafael.

"Why are you glowing.." I recall him telling me before he lost consciousness. He saw my true form, and he will remember. I could prevaricate in order to protect my secret but I don't know if I'll manage to pull it off. I don't want to lie to him anymore. I don't want to deceive him. He deserves to know the truth. I just hope he'll have an open mind. I just hope he wouldn't change right after I tell him the truth.

"Seungri.. I don't know what to do with you.. All I know is that I always want to be close to you.. to protect you and not lose you.. to stay with you 'til my last dying breath.."

'Til my last dying breath.. With those words I'm already accepting my fate. I smile a little as I watch him sleep, there's no question if this man is worth dying for. I will embrace death like it was sunshine. I love him. And that love is worth dying for.

"I love you, Seungri.." I whisper and a tear slid on my cheek. I don't care what happens to me now. What's important to me right now is him.

All of a sudden his eyebrows twitched and he slowly opened his eyes. I saw him wince a bit, and it sent an impulse for me to grab his hand.

"Seungri, I'm here.." I tell him. He then turns to my direction looking disoriented, like he doesn't even recognize me. "Hey it's me, Jinn.." I softly spoke.

"Jinn?" He asks me in bewilderment. "How.. Why.." He slowly sat up from the couch. "What are you.. What am I.." He looks very much confused and trying hard to remember the details that happened awhile ago. He looks at the surroundings. "Am I in my house? But I don't remember--"

Seungri's eyes suddenly widened in alarm. "No, I wasn't here. I was out. I was walking. I came from work. I wasn't here--"

"Seungri, calm down." I held his arm as he fidgeted on his seat.

"W-What are you even doing here?" He asks me with furrowed eyebrows. After a few seconds it seemed like he remembered it all. He quickly pulled his shirt up and touched his abdomen. "What the--" Seungri looks disbelieved. He continues to rub the part where he had been thrusted with a knife. "I was jabbed with a knife.. Right here.." He stated, almost to himself. He lowers down his shirt. "I was attacked by a man.. He put a knife through my stomach.. I saw blood.. And then someone arrived.. Someone fought him off.." He looks at me. "I saw you.." It was almost a whisper.

I inhaled deeply. "Yes.. All of it happened.. I was the one who brought you home."

"B-But.." Seungri shook his head, perplexed. "How.. I don't.. Could you please even--"

"Explain to you why you're not wounded and why you're still alive?" I ask him.

He nodded his head slowly. "I know for a fact I was about to die.." He answers. "And.. I saw you.. You were glowing.." He squints at me and then shakes his head. "I must be going crazy--"

"No you're not." I cut him off and immediately stood up from my seat. He looks up to me, baffled. I swallow hard. "There's something you should know."

"W-What is it that I should know?" He asks looking at me in a weird way.

It's now or never. I tell myself. There, in front of him, I changed to my true form.

Seungri's eyes widened the same time as his lips. He struggled to utter something but failed. He ended up with just pointing a finger at me. Eventough he can't speak I can hear his thoughts. And it's so very loud. In his head he was shouting the one word I am always called.

I smile at him. "Yes, Seungri. I'm an angel."
