"Pikachu, use quick attack!" Ash shouted, letting out a smile of enjoyment as the battle started to reach its peak. The yellow mouse landed on his feet, letting out a burst of speed, hitting the opposing Cinderace to lose his balance and knocking him out on impact. The fainted bunny was left in the wall, letting out one more weep of pain until he fell face first onto the ground.

"Cinderace is unable to battle," said the professor. "Pikachu is the winner, which means the victory goes to Ash."

"Alright buddy, way to go!" The Kanto boy yelled in excitement, hugging the yellow mouse as it jumped off the battlefield.

"Take a good rest buddy," The other trainer said as he returned the fainted pokemon to its respective pokeball. He let out a small smile, still hurt from the loss, but he already knew he would when he saw the fire in his friend's eyes. "That was a fun battle Ash, but next time I'll win next time." For the past few months, Ash and his partner Pikachu decided to stay and help out Professor Cerise, who started his new laboratory in vermilion city. Ash has met new friends along the way, both people and Pokemon. He has traveled to new and old regions, discovering the hidden secrets, and exploring all types of pokemon. It was then where he set his new goal to make it to the world champion coronation and beat the champion Leon. His friend, Goh, wants to be the first to catch the mythical pokemon Mew, the one that can create life as we know. Both boys met as they were on a quest to befriend the legendary pokemon Lugia, who miraculously made a special appearance in Vermilion city. It was then they both decided to become good friends and work together to achieve their own goals.

"Yah you bet," Ash said as the furry companion jumped on his shoulders. "But don't think I'll go easy on you."

"You were going easy on me?" Goh questioned his friend, moping on the poor loss he was granted. Just then, a girl who was the same age as the two boys walked into the greenhouse. She wore a white and yellow dress and had brown hair that was braided to the side of her head. She was followed by a yellow colored looking pokemon who, what people in the Galar region, call him yamper.

"You guys finished with your battle?" the girl asked, looking at the holes in the ground and walls around them.

"Yah, Ash won this time," Goh replied.

"Knew he would win," Chloe said with a smirk, who was now giving her friend a hard time.

"Oh come on, that was cold." Chloe giggled and turned to Ash and spoke, "You must be a good battler to beat Goh everytime."

"We only battled like three times," Goh jumped in, being defensive as ever.

"Yah and everytime you guys battled, Ash always won." It didn't take long until the two friends got into an argument, making Ash and Pikachu anime sweat as he watched the scene unfold in front of him.

"Well, if I want to be a Pokemon Master, I have to be the very best, like know one ever was," Ash said, grabbing his friends' attention. Chloe smiled at him, then remembered why she was sent to the greenhouse in the first place.

"You guys wanna go to a Pokemon Contest in Fuchsia City? It starts in a few weeks so if you guys want to go, we should leave tomorrow."

"I don't see why not," Ash said with one of his iconic smiles. Chloe then turned her attention to Goh, who seemed to have the same answer as Ash's.

"Then it's settled, we're going to take the plane there and watch the contest," Chloe exclaimed, earning an excited look from Goh's face. On the other hand, Ash was not to fiend about the idea.

"Why don't we walk there?" Ash suggested.

"You know, that's not a bad idea," said Goh, who was thinking about all the wild pokemon he could meet on the way to Fuchsia. Chloe grinned the thought of traveling on foot, alone, with Ash and Goh as her company.
