The wonderful world of pokemon are filled to the brim with adventure, letting people and pokemon live in harmony. Pokemon can be found in all shapes and sizes, from the size of a skyscraper, to the smallest pebble in the ocean. From the vast lands, to the cool blue sea, and to the everlasting sky, pokemon roam the world as we know it, living with or without humans. Today, I would like to enjoy your stay in the Kanto region. Come visit me at my lab here in Pallet Town where you can meet all sorts of different Kanto pokemons. If you're lucky enough, you might see the rare mythic Mew. So thank you, and hope you enjoy your stay.

As Professor Oak's commercial left the screen, people started to move around their seats as the plane started to descend to the land below. Clouds partially blocked the windows vision, making it hard to see the wild pokemon who were flying by.

"All passengers, please return to your seats. We are landing right now," the flight attendant said as she watched the people buckling their seat belts, getting ready to hit the region below. Excitement filled the airways of the plane as it reached the ground, rocking the passengers back and forth as they sat in their chairs, waking up a golden-blonde haired girl who was enjoying her nap.

"You finally woke up," May smirked at her friends as she started to gather her belongings from under the seat.

"Yah, you can say that," Serena replied, rubbing both of her eyes, adjusting to the light above. She looked around to see people leave the flying machine. One by one she saw people enter through the metal tunnel, exiting the plane. Serena yawned as she got out of her chair and started to stretch. She looked at May, who was waiting for her friend by the exit. They both walked out of the plane to be greeted by the cool ocean breeze. The sky was covered in Pidgeys and Pidgeot as they soared through the air.

The two girls pass through the roaming crowds, seeking out their luggage at the luggage train. As they went through the sea of people, May noticed a familiar face. Her face lit up and rushed to a girl who wore a pink and black skirt. She had a pink and white beanie that had the pokeball symbol on it. Her blue hair danced in the breeze as she walked to the luggage train, looking for her bags.

"Dawn? Is that you?" The girl turned around to be greeted by a brown brunette, who was smiling from ear to ear. The Sinnoh girl turned around to see her Hoenn friend standing there full of joy. Dawn then smiled and gave her friend a hug, letting all their happiness fill both of them as they continued. A few seconds later, May broke the hug, leaving Dawn smiling, still happy to see her friend once again.

"So you're here too," May said, giving Dawn a nudge on the shoulder.

"Yep, I won't be holding back though. I'm going to reach the very top," Dawn declared as she lifted her arm up in the air in a victorious pose. May continued to smile until she realized Serena wasn't with her. May then looked around in hopes she wasn't out of her vision, but she concluded she lost her friend.

"Oh man," May said with a defeated sigh, grabbing Dawn's attention. "I lost Serena."

"Whose Serena?" Dawn asked, curiosity filling her head as her and May stood there in the sea of people. Dawn heard the name Serena a few times, once while watching TV with her mom. She knew that she was a Pokemon Performer and that she was from the Kalos region. Not only that, but she came second in the master class. She remembered her mom talking nonstop about the Kalos girl when she appeared on TV, saying that she and her pokemons looked strong. She wished that she could meet Serena one day, and somehow, that wish can finally come true.

"She's one of my friends I competed with during the Hoenn contests," May told Dawn. Dawn then smiled, then offered to help May find her Kalos friend. They walked around the airport but there was no sign of the Kalos girl. Minutes went by as they continued to look around the airport, wondering where May's friend went.
