The cool breeze ocean breeze blew into the hair of the young Sinnoh girl's hair, making it dance beneath the nightly lit sky. She smiled as she watched the waves move back and forth as they broke down once they reached shore. She turned around to see a certain Kanto boy, who was smiling ear to ear. He started making his way to Dawn, each step he took made her heart pound five times faster. Her eyes followed his movement as the boy came closer to her. This is it, she thought he was only inches away from holding hands. There's no turning back.
"You look stunning as ever," The boy said as he gave Dawn his usual smile, the one that made her heart pound faster each minute she lays eyes on him. She blushed, giving her hand out for the boy to take. They sat on the edge of the dock as they watched the elements collide with one another. Thoughts overcame the girls head, thinking of the boy who she desired the most out of anyone. She let out a sigh, having her head rest on the Kanto trainer's shoulder.
"I missed you so much." She looked up to see the boy smiling down upon her. She smiled back, "I hope you didn't wait long."
"I didn't," Dawn said. She then sat up just a bit, having her face only inches away from the boy. "I love you so much Ash."
"I love you too, Dawn." They got closer every second, looking deeper into each other's eyes. Their lips came closer and closer, until...
The door swung open, causing the three girls to wake up instantly. Serena opened her eyes and faced the door to see a certain hyper Kalos girl in the doorway.
"Wake up sleepy heads!" She shouted as her pokemon followed her lead. "Let's not waste the day sleeping, right?"
"Five more minutes," May said, as she pulled the blanket over her head.
"Bonnie, you can't just go to bed really early to wake us all up when you're up," Serena growled at her friend, throwing her shoe at the young girl. Bonnie stuck her tongue up as she dodged the flying shoe. She ran out the room, having her pokemon follow her as if she was committing a crime together. "I'm so sorry about that guys. I promise that won't happen again."
"It's all good," May said as she finally adjust to the light in the room. "I'm used to having a younger sibling around." Serena smiled and turned to face Dawn. Dawn just laid on her bed in deep thoughts, thinking about the dream she just had. She wondered what it meant. Did her feelings for Ash get stronger the farther they are apart and why now? Why of all times, she started having these thoughts about the boy.
"I don't get it," She said as she stared at the ceiling.
"You ok Dawn?" Serena asked with a concern in her voice. Dawn sat up and faced the other two girls, who gave her a worried look.
"I'm fine guys," Dawn said, waving her hands, denying their judgements. "There's nothing going on guys." She then got up from her bed and started making her way to the bathroom. "We should probably get ready guys. We don't want to have Bonnie wait for us." She entered the room and closed the door, leaving the other two girls sitting in the silent room, worrying about their Sinnoh friend.
"You think something is on her mind May?" Serena asked, still staring at the closed bathroom door.
"I have never really seen Dawn like this before," May said, grabbing Serena's attention.
"What do you mean?"
"I remember she got really down one time because she was in a slump when we traveled Johto together," May said. She paused, trying to remember the memory of her friend's slump. "For some reason, this is worse." Serena got up and grabbed her hair brush.
"Well," She said as she let out Braixen from her pokeball. "O think we should keep an eye on her."
"Agreed."
