"Maybe one more time around and we call it good," Dawn said as she sat on her fairy type pokemon. Ash nodded and petted his dragon as he pointed to a different direction towards the water. Noivern nodded and dashed towards the ocean, blasting a super sonic in search of the Mankey. She sighed as she turned to see a Kanto trainer riding his Pidgeot next to her.

"No luck?" Gary asked the girl. She shook her head and glanced towards the Hoenn trainer, riding the Salamence.

"Think we call it a day?" Sawyer asked the group as he tiredly moaned. Gary sighed as he looked over to Ash who continued to fly across the forest canopies, determined to find the missing Mankey. He then flew to his friend and poked his shoulder, grabbing the Alolan Champion's attention.

"Wanna call it a day?" Gary asked the boy. Ash let out a sour grin as he nodded in agreement, flying back towards the pokemon center.

"Any luck?" Serena asked as the group of teens entered the center. Dawn shook her head with sadness and sat down next to the Alolan boy.

"Nothing..." Dawn said as she drooped her limbs across the coach. "I'm so tired..."

"Agreed," Sawyer said as he tumbled across the floor.

"Yah," Gary said, agreeing with the Hoenn boy. "Hey, don't you guys have to go to a contest or something?" Serena nodded and checked her rotom phone to find the next location of the Contest.

"Here we go," Serena said as she showed a picture of a city, showing where the next Contest is going to be held. "It looks like it's going to be in Vermillion City." Dawn peeked over her shoulder as she read the article.

"It says registration is in two days," Dawn said as she pointed at Serena's screen.

"Yah," Serena said, agreeing to the Sinnoh girl.

Pikachu laid on the bed as he watched his trainer get ready for the day. Not long after, a loud noise woke the sleeping pokemon up as he glared at his trainer rushing into the room. The boy then slammed the door close and made his way towards the bed and sighed. Pikachu looked at his trainer with a confused look, plastered onto the pokemon's face. Ash looked up and sighed once more as he lifted his head off the bed and gave a weak smile to his buddy.

"I'm alright pal," Ash said as the yellow mouse ran onto the trainer's lap. "Just have lots on my mind right now." Before Pikachu could ask (not that he could speak or anything), a quiet but loud enough knock echoed through the trainers room, grabbing the champion's attention. "You can come in," Ash said as he watched the door slowly open, revealing a certain Kalos girl.

"You ok Ash?" the girl asked with a hint of concern in her voice. "You sort of got up and ran out of the room, anything in your mind."

"No," Ash lied as he let out a grinning smile. "Everything is totally fine over here." Serena rolled her eyes and sat down beside the Kanto trainer and started to pet the yellow mouse, who decided to jump onto her lap.

"Ash, you're so good at all sorts of things," Serena said as she looked over at the boy. "But a liar is not one of them. Ash sighed as he plopped his back onto the bed, staring at the light in the center of the blank ceiling.

"I'm just confused," Ash said to the girl, "That's all." Serena let out a confused look as well as his pokemon once more.

"What do you mean?"

"Something recently happened and I have no idea what to think about it. Like you are trying to solve a mystery on your own," the Kanto trainer said.

"You lost me," Serena replied. Ash sighed as he sat up and looked into the girl's eyes. He loved the small moments with her, more like these ones. "Umm, Ash?" Serena asked, blushing blood red. Ash snapped out of his trance and looked towards the ground, trying to hide his blush.

"Remember when we parted ways for the first time in Kalos? When you, well... you know..." Ash said as he pointed towards his lips, letting the Kalos girl put two and two together? Her face went redden as she remembered every second of her past.

"Y-yah," the girl stuttered. "Wh-what about it?"

"Well," Ash said as he continued to look down at the floor. "Why did you do that?" A few seconds later, the Kalos girl started to giggle as the yellow mouse facepalmed, disappointed at his clueless trainer.

"Well," Serena said as she smirked at the trainer as she scooted closer to the boy. Just then, she leaned over and pressed her lips together with his, closing her eyes in the process. Her face reddened even more than before, the boy's eyes shot wider than before, and Pikchu's mouth exploded wide open as he watched the girl kiss the boy again. As their lips parted ways, Serena smiled as she looked up to the ceiling.

"I did it because of all the things you have done for me throughout my journey through Kalos. Enjoying each other's company with laughter and smiles. I can't think of a better way to spend my time than you..." And with that, Serena realized what she was doing and quickly looked over at the boy and waved her hands everywhere like they had minds of their own.

"That's not what I meant... I mean yes... I mean..." she suddenly felt warmth flow around her body as Ash grabbed her and wrapped his arms around the girl for a hug. She smiled as she laid her head against his chest as listened to the Kanto trainer.

"I want to choose you too."

"So Dawn?" May asked as she sat next to the Sinnoh Coordinator. "Are you ready to go?" Dawn then nodded and smiled at her friend.

"You bet," Dawn said. She then turned to Bonnie who was smiling from ear to ear.

"I can't wait for my next gym battle," The teen yelled as she jumped up and down with excitement. Clemont smiled as he watched his little sister grow up and battle her way to the top.
"Ok then," Clemont said. "All we were waiting for is Serena." As if planned, Serena walked into the room, followed by Ash close behind with his partner on his shoulder.

"Are you coming with me?" Serena asked the boy as she made her way to the group.

"Yah," the gym leader said as he fixed his glasses. "Someone has to watch for my little girl..."

"Never call me that," Bonnie interrupted as the group giggled as the two siblings fought one another. Clemont then looked at the Kanto trainer and smiled. "So Ash, are you coming with us?" The boy nodded

"Yah," Ash said as if it was a stupid question to ask. "Someone has to cheer on my girlfriend."
