Meeting the King
We silence for the moment before we heard a laugh from the vampire guy who almost make me his dinner.
"It's been a long time since-" He paused and looked at Kei from top to bottom. "-I last saw you." Nakangising sabi nito sa akin.
"What did you do to her?"
"Relax." Itinaas pa ng lalaking 'to ang kamay niya sa ere. "What can I do to her if you already interrupted? Every time Prince Keiran, you always interrupt my meal; every time."
Masamang nakatingin lang sa kanya si Kei bago nagbaling ng tingin sa akin. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Tanong nito sa akin pero wala sa sariling tumango ako sa kanya.
How come that this man in front of me is a prince? A prince of this clan? This vicious and dangerous clan? He never even mentioned this thing to us! On the whole team?! Ano pa ba ang hindi ko alam sa buong team? For sure, a lot of things.
"What are you doing here Nikolai?!" Muling bumaling si Kei sa bampirang nasa harap niya na nakangisi lang rito.
"Shouldn't I be the one who's asking that?" He scoffed at Kei as he answered him. "You left, leaving everything behind so what are you doing here now?"
"I don't need to explain myself to you and to tell you, I never leave everything behind." Determinadong sagot naman ni Kei sa kanya. Hindi ko maintindihan ang pinag-uusapan nilang dalawa dahil wala naman akong alam sa sitwasyon nila.
"Oh really? You left; you ran away from your responsibilities but never left anything behind? That is kinda ironic for a guy like you Kei." He mocks.
Nagsimulang ikuyom ni Kei ang kamao niya habang tinitignan at pinapakinggan ang sinasabi ng lalaking nasa harap namin, at para bang pinipigilan niya ang sarili sa maaaring mangyari sa lalaking kaharap. They both stood still and no one dares to speak.
"Nasaan si Letisha? Wala raw siya sa dungeon sabi ni Rance." Pagbabasag ko sa katahimikan nilang dalawa at siyang nilingon naman ako ni Kei.
"Don't worry, she's safe now." He answers, I cocked my head as I looked at him. "Safe? Asan siya?" Muli kong tanong.
"Anong nangyayari dito? Prince Keiran at Prince Nikolai?" Bumukas muli ang pinto ng kusinang ito at lumabas roon ang isang babae.
From the luminous light of this room, I can clearly see her. Her brown eyes that suit her white as snow skin but somehow, it's look like a translucent one due to light and her sophisticated facial expression as her eyebrows met in the middle while looking at us.
Kasunod niya sa likod ang iilang kawal na siyang pumunta sa kani-kanilang pwesto. Anong nangyayari ngayon?
