Aron Ryle’s POV

“Guys, remember the lady I always talked about?” bungad ko ng pumasok ako sa Riona. Next week pa magsisimula ang recruiting for new members.

“Ryle, saan ka ba galing at mukhang tuwang-tuwa ka?” tanong ni Johnny na kasalukuyang may hawak na libro.

Si Dale naman ay tahimik na nagsusulat sa table niya. Hindi siya umiimik but I know that he is listening.

“Dito siya nag-aaral!” masayang sabi ko. “The lady who helped me last week!”

“You met her?” sunod na tanong ni Johnny.

“Yeah. Yeah. I met her and I am going to chase her!”

Napatayo si Johnny mula sa kinatatayuan niya. He put down his book first.

“Woo! Seryoso ka d’yan, Diesma?” He ain’t convince with my words.

“Oo. Seryoso talaga ako!”

Since the day that Dwight appeared and saved me from the hands of those dangerous guys, I couldn’t get her out of my mind. The way she moved and kicked those men, just wow, she looked cool doing that. I’ve looking for her and I am happy that my feet brought me to her, once again.

I made a word to myself that if ever fate would allow our path to cross again, I am going to win her heart. And it’s something that did not disappoint me, we are studying in the same University! I won’t go back to my words, I am going to pursue her.

Dwight owns a beauty that radiates from within. Simple lang siya manamit, a simple shirt and pants. Her wavy hair suits her small face. Seryoso ang mga titig niya. And for me, that’s attractive. Fearless, that how her stares appeared to me.

I might appear funny but I am serious when it comes to making my own decision. That’s how I live my life. Silly outside but firm inside.

I was doing my presentation when I received a call from dad. It’s nearly 11 PM but he called me.

“Dad,” I answered the phone.

“Ryle, I am going to America the day after tomorrow,” agad na bungad niya sa akin.

“Agad-agad, Dad? For what?”

“I need to go there for negotiation,” he replied.

“Oh, okay.”

“How’s mom?” he asked.

“Fine.”

“Do you argued with her again?”

I didn’t let out a word.

“You did,” my dad said. “Hindi ka na bata, Ryle. Don’t put that act with your mom.”

“Dad, it was her—”

“I need to go.” He then put down the line.

I sighed and put down my phone. Dad is getting busier as the days passed by.  Gustuhin ko man siyang makausap ng matagal but time won’t permit. Maraming pinupuntahan si Daddy. They are also working on a medical research. That really need their focus.
