Aron Ryle's POV

After that moment I spent with Dwight, I couldn't help but admire her more than I ever could do. She was always there for me, holding my hand. While I was lost and confused, her warmth kept my heart awake. Her smiles gave me light. I swear to myself, as long as Dwight is with me, I must not go astray. I should get  hold of myself because there is still a woman in my life that loved me genuinely and I loved the most too.

When I set foot at our home, it was quiet. I choose to stay here instead of my own place but that ambiance here is sad. It was gloomy and empty. Both of my parents aren't around. Until now, I am still clueless who my real mom was. I badly wanted to ask my parents but I couldn't. I am aware that I am hesitant. I feared something. Even though I deny it, it scares me, really. I could feel like I am just threading some excuses and convincing myself for something that even myself isn't certain of.

How I wish I am brave enough to ask my mom once and for all, this confusion would vanish. Because as long as this confusion haunts me, my heart feels heavy.

Days passed by, and today, together with the sports medicine physicians, our team was flying to France to ensure the safety of the Filipino players who are competing in such a prestigious sporting event. Before us, there are already doctors who went with the players before but we are asked to come too.

Surprise enclosed me when I saw someone familiar standing in front of me when I entered the airport's gate. I automatically ran towards her, dragging my suitcase, and stopped when I got close to her.

"Love, what are you doing here?" I asked with a wide smile.

"What do you think?" she tossed a question instead of giving a reply.

"You are with your suitcase," I mentioned when my gaze caught her suitcase beside her. "Don't tell me, you. . ."

"What?" She grinned.

"You. . ."

"I've been accepted by DMM Media!" Her eyes shone as she told me these words.

She couldn't hide how happy she was that now that she is back on the field. Of course, I am glad for her too. I've been waiting for her to do her job again.

"Really? Finally, my love!" I held her on her shoulder and pulled closed to me, embracing her. "You are back!"

"Yeah. But as an assistant only," she uttered from behind.

I distanced myself from her and fixed her hair that I messed up because of hugging her suddenly.

"That's fine. I know that you'll be back on the big screen someday with your own capability," I said, looking directly into her eyes.

"Big screen?" She winced. "You are talking as if I am a celebrity."

I chuckled. "Did I? But I want to call it that way," I insisted.

She gave a light stroke to my elbow. "Whatever, Ryle," she said. She pulled her suitcase and turned around.

"Let's go together, love!" I said, running after her.

"I'm going with my co-workers," she replied, without looking back.

"I don't care. I am going with you," I uttered as I walked alongside her.

I saw her shaking her head without saying a word.

Dwight and I arrived together at Paris but got separated right after because she need to go with her colleagues so do I.
