Chapter 30

Aron Ryle's POV

The moment Dwight took a step forward and kissed me on my cheeks, may sound weird, but my world seemed to stop. I am surprised by what she just did. I just stood there, frozen, with my eyes widely open. Her soft chuckles overwhelmed my hearing before she turned her back on me. 

I found myself unconsciously smiling while touching my cheeks where she kissed me. I was lost by that. I felt my heart go insane. I just couldn't help it. It was the first kiss I got from Dwight, unang halik na siya mismo ang gumawa. On the two of us, it was me who always did the first move. I am the one who always kissed her. 

Dwight is not a clingy type girlfriend. If I didn't hold her hand first, I couldn't hold her for a day because she never made a first move. Everytime I did the action, hindi niya naman ako pinipigilan. When I hug her at unexpected times, she lets me. When I held her hand, she let me basta hindi lang sa maraming tao at public places. If I kissed her, she didn't obstruct and just let me. 

But now, she did it! She kissed me first! I could even hear the loud pumping of my heart. 

"Oh, Ryle. Dwight had this much effect on you, how would you live your life without her?" I asked myself as I tried to calm down and ease the rapid beating of my heart. 

Mabilis na lumipas ang oras ng trabaho and now it's time for our lunch. 

"Bro!" Zack called. "Time for lunch!"

Inayos ko muna ang table ko bago lumabas at sumabay sa kaniya. 

While on our way to the hospital's canteen, we saw Yesenia going to the same destination with us. 

The three of us got our food together and took the vacant table and the center area of the place.

"Ngiting-ngiti tayo, ah?" Zack punched my elbow. "Gan'yan ba kasarap ang pagkain natin dito sa canteen?"

"That's not the reason, Zack!" Yesenia stated, raising her fork, pointing at him. "He has that smile because of love!" 

"Ayon naman pala!" Zack laughed. "Pag-ibig!" 

"Stop that, Zack!" I warned when he began teasing me. 

"You know, Zack?" Yesenia began again. The way she speaks, Zack was the only person around and I don't even exist here. "I met her kanina!" She announced, referring to Dwight.

Mukhang mas naintriga naman si Zack kaya muli itong nagtanong. "Totoo?"

"Yeah. Ang ganda niya sa malapitan, Zack!" Yesenia claimed. 

"Sabi sa iyo, eh. I once met her when he fractured her ankle," Zack narrated. 

"Paano niya nagawa 'yun?" Yesenia wondered. "Ang simple lang ng pananamit niya, pero iba talaga ang dating, eh." 

From Yesenia's voice, I could tell how she admired my Dwight. 

"Seriously, Yesh?" Zack smirked. "You are fangirling over the girlfriend of the man you once liked?" 

Yesenia raised a brow. "What's wrong with that, Zack?" 

The continued to talk as I took a bite of my food. Hindi ako makasingit sa pinag-uusapan nila. 

A minute later, I overheard some people whispering about me and Dwight. Kasali rin sa pinag-uusapan nila sina Yesenia at August.

I got curious about what they were talking about so I searched for my phone and opened my Instagram account. According to what I heard, they saw that on their IG accounts.
