Crystal Dwight's POV

"Zy, I am asking you, really. What should I wear tomorrow?" I asked over the phone. It's on loudspeaker. I am busy rummaging through my closet to find a dress that would suit me for tomorrow's party, Milan's birthday. I should wear something presentable and casual.

It's already seven o'clock but still I haven't decided on what I am going to wear. I really can't decide on my own.

"How 'bout wearing some crepe gown?" She chuckled from the other line.

"Zy, I am not the debutant."

"Kaninong birthday ka ba pupunta, Dwigthty?"

"It's Milan. She's Ellaine's trainee. She's turning eighteen and just wanted to celebrate her day at Ellaine's studio. She said she just wanted her birthday to be happy so they came up with some challenges with Johnny to have fun. I happened to be there that day. I become part of their challenge too."

"What challenge did you get?"

"I'mma sing the song I last listened to," I said, sitting on my bed. I reached for my phone and turned off the loudspeaker. I put it next to my ear. I grabbed a pillow and leaned back at the headrest of my bed.

"What song is that?"

"Promises. The song we always listened to together."

"Oh. I know that. I also love that song and his voice was great," she said. "His girlfriend was gorgeous, you know. They look cute together."

"I told you. I admire her too. I love her voice. I watched some of her dramas and I just couldn't help but fall in love with her voice."

"Oh! I already watched the drama you last recommended."

"See? Maganda 'di ba?"

"Yeah. I found the female lead attractive. The way she helped the guy to walk again, it touched my heart, really," she said admirely.

"Si Chu Ge?"

"Yeah. Lalong-lalo na 'yung malapit na sa ending. When she kissed the man in the forehead, napaiyak talaga ako."

"Ang solid pa ng friendship nila. Both from the present and the past, their closeness was priceless." When I watched that, I really admired their friendship. There are some misunderstandings yet they overcome it.

"I also love each of the characters' back story and how they helped each other to overcome it."

I chuckled. "Aya, Zyie. Look at yourself. You are already married and you are still talking about that like you were seventeen."

"It's you who told me to watch it, aren't you?" she retorted. "You even watched a lot more than me."

"Not that much. Only part of entertainment after a hectic day," I reasoned out. I only did that to divert my attention from the things that have been bothering me for a day. "Where is our talk going?" I wondered. "I am asking you what I am going to wear, aren't I?" I asked, in a sarcastic tone.

She chuckled. "Oo nga pala. What is available in your closet?"

"T-shirt, sweatpants, trousers, blazers, jeans-"

"Stop! Stop!" she halted me. "You don't have dresses or something else?"

I shook my head even though she didn't know it. "You know me. I barely wear them so I didn't bother buying one."
