Chapter 29

Crystal Dwight's POV

"Bakit mo ako pinakilalang boyfriend mo sa media? Sira ka ba?" sunod-sunod na tanong ni August nang makaalis na ang mga ito.

Nandito kami ngayon sa garden ng hospital malapit sa may gate. It's the nearest place where we could take a seat and sort things out. 

"I'm sane, August!" Yesenia replied, defending herself. "Can you help me, hmm? I don't want to ruin Dwight and Ryle's relationship so I came up with that idea."

"Idea na ipakilala ako bilang boyfriend mo?"

"Exactly!" Yesenia agreed. "Alam ko ang tunay mong pagkatao. Huwag ka!" There's a warning on her tone.  "It'll benefit you the most."

I wonder what they are talking about. Mukhang na-out of place ako sa topic nila. Marahan akong tumikhim kaya naman napagtanto nilang dalawa na kasama pa pala nila ako. 

"Hey, Dwight!" Yesenia plastered a sweet smile as she looked in my direction. "I am sorry that I got involved with something with your boyfriend."

I forced a smile, conquering the awkwardness between us. "Walang problema. He already explained that to me."

"The things I said on TV were all true. Palagi ka talaga niyang binabanggit!" Yesenia stated. She seemed excited. "He really loves you, girl!"

I felt embarrassed by what she just said. While looking at her, I can say that she's really beautiful. Ngayon ko lang kasi siya natitigan ng malapitan. She hold such mesmerizing beauty. She's like a living fairy. 

"You are all here?" We all looked sideways when a familiar voice crossed our hearing.

He smiled when he saw me. I noticed that he looked different today. He is literally growing. The smile in his eyes made his image even more striking. 

"Amazed by what I have done?" Yesenia inquired when he got closer.

Ryle nodded at her. "Yeah. You never mentioned that you had a boyfriend already." 

"Hindi niya ako boyfriend, no!” singit naman ni August na tila ayaw pa rin pumayag sa nais mangyari ni Yesenia.

"Sige, mamili ka. You'll act as my boyfriend or you'll continue pretending to be a gay just to get away from your fiancee?" 

Ryle and I gave him a puzzled look. "Fiancee?! We both blurted out.

"Daldalita ka talaga kahit kailan, Yesenia!" August grinned. "Oo na. Papayag na ako!" He conceded.

"Hinay-hinay lang sa PDA, Doc Ryle!" Yesenia gave him a teasing look. "Nasa workplace pa rin tayo!"

"Tara na nga, Yesenia!" August pulled her by her wrist. "E-eksena ka pa rito, eh!"

"But, I want to know Dwight more!" Yesenia argued like a kid.

"Pwede namang sa ibang araw mo nalang siya kilalaning mabuti" August countered back. "Magkakaroon din kayo ng moment ni Dwight!" August attempted to pulled her once again. "For now, sila muna! Mag-jowa sila, eh!"

Hindi ko mapigilan ang mapangiti dahil sa inaasal nilang dalawa. They seemed closed to each other, like they know each other for a long time already. 

"What's with that smile, love?" Ryle took the seat next to me. 

"Umusod ka nga!" reklamo ko. "Ang lapit mo sa akin, eh. May space pa naman doon, oh!" Tinuro ko ang bakanteng espasyo sa kabilang banda ng inupuan niya. 

He just shook his head. "I just want to be close to you." 

I didn't argue with him because I know that he won't listen to me. And being close like this, I love it. Gusto ko na malapit siya sa akin. I love that he is just around me, close to me.
