Crystal Dwight's POV

"This is the first-ever unusual yet the best date I ever had."

I found myself smiling as I diverted my gaze away.

So for me, this counts as our first.

Honestly, my encounter with Ryle is quite peculiar. I never met someone who made this much efforts to pursue a girl. Every morning when I woke up, I always received a message from him cheering me for my upcoming day. Then later on the evening, he would asked how it went. Sometimes when his craziness hits him, he continuously sent periods as the content of his message. Hindi ko siya narereplayan kasi madalas na wala akong load. Hindi ko nga ito nabanggit sa kanya, baka isipin niya na ini-ignore ko lang ang mga messages niya.

After a day, we went to Dreem Plaza to relaxed. There is a place that we could have the full glimpse of the setting sun, scattering its golden beam throughout the entire city. I really love this kind of ambiance. It gives me a feeling of inner stillness. The delicate sun rays hushes the turmoil inside my head and eases the worries away. Sunset is more than just a setting sun at the West.

Everytime I am watching the sunset, I could feel like as if the sun was talking to me, saying, "Congrats, my dear. You tried hard today. You've done your best today and that's enough. Tomorrow morning I'll rise again, so as you. Surely, it will a day with a lot of opportunities waiting for you, a day that teach you through experiences so you can improve yourself. Don't forget that, my sunshine will knock at your window the next day."

"Looked like you forgot that I am you, Dwight."

I was pulled back to the reality when I heard his voice, sulking. I was mesmerized by the beauty of the surrounding that I even forget my companion. Oh, Dwight.

"I'm sorry," I apologized.

"That's fine. I understand that you girls love the moments like this."

I confronted him with a creased forehead. "Bakit? Hindi nyo ba gusto masaksihan ang mga ganito?"

"I am interested to it now because I've got to experience it first with you."

I looked away and stared at the orange sky with the fading  rays of the sun. Some of the clouds are formed into some forms. I enjoyed what I am doing, gazing above. What a wonderful universe we have, exquisitely beautiful.

"Ryle, thank you," I said, glancing at him.

A smile became visible on his face, his eyes were smiling with him too. "For what?"

"For what you did today."

"This is nothing, Dwight. I've been so busy these past few weeks, that's why."

"That's why, what?" I begged.

"Bumabawi ako sa'yo! Baka magtampo ka na, eh!" hirit niya.

I shrugged. "Tampo, mukha mo."

"Eh?" He leaned closer and a teasing smirk curved on his lips. "Then. . ."
