Crystal Dwight's POV

"Dwight, please stop questioning your worth in front of me, you are hurting me, you know. You are worthy of my love. Don't compare yourself to other people because I fell in love with you, not with them.

"Dwight, I can promise you that I won't hurt you nor leave you. Promises are not all meant to be broken. Dwight, let me be one of those people who can fulfill them. Give me a chance to be a living proof that there are still men in this world that true with their words."

"I can be one, Dwight. . . if I am with you."

Day quickly passed by but his words was still repeating on my head on and on. Every time I closed my eyes, I could pictured him out saying that phrases directly into my eyes sincerely. Amidst the silence of the night, his voice become louder making me wide awake.

"Argh, why does he need to be this wordy and won't allow me to sleep even I have lot of things to do tomorrow?"

I buried my head in my pillow  and then I remembered something. Saan ko nga ba ito nabasa? I am sure that I already read it somewhere I just couldn't recall it.

"If you are having a trouble of falling asleep, blink fast for a minute."

I let out a deep breath and faced my mother. I bent down my knees and gripped on her wheelchair for support.

Kaya nga may bakasyon, 'di ba?

I let out a big smile.

Basta alagaan mo ang sarili mo, ah?" she said as she caressed my hair.

Saka mga paa ko lang naman ang may problema hindi ang mga kamay ko," she said in a very firm tone like there is nothing wrong with her.

I kissed her cheeks and stood up, waving my hand, my goodbye.

The Foodie Place is not that far from our house. I could just hailed a taxi and reached the place in no time.

"Good morning, sir. Some strands of his hair covering his forehead was dyed red.

"Oh. I remember you," he said, pointing his index finger on me.

"You can count on me, sir!" I smiled and slightly bowed my head. "I won't disappoint you, sir!" I lively added.

"Sir, sir? Err, that's a little overboard," he said, raising his brows.
