Chapter 21

"FUCK-!" Katsuki screamed as his body started pushing involuntarily.

Eijirou held his hand to his lips and hardened his hand slightly so Katsuki wouldn't break it from how tight he was holding. Whatever Katsuki could say anything, it was only swears. It was like he couldn't think of any other words.

It was proving impossible for him to not push. It was more draining to try not to than it would be to just sit back and let it happen. But he was determined to wait.

But finally, they arrived at the hospital. The baby's head was nearly born. Katsuki felt like he was dying from the pain. Currently he wasn't on any medication. He hadn't done this without medication before. He'd also always had an epidural. Now, he could feel everything. Every time he pushed and the baby's head moved out more, he could feel himself stretch and tear. It was the worst feeling he'd ever experienced.

He felt a blanket being thrown over his hips and down his legs, covering everything happening down there. Quickly, the stretcher was rushed into the hospital. He couldn't really tell what was happening except that he was being pushed to a delivery room and that Eijirou was yelling at someone.

He cried out in pain again as he was moved from the stretcher to the bed. As soon as Katsuki was placed on the bed and propped up, he was gripping onto the side as tightly as possible. Eijirou ran in, followed by Mitsuki, Masaru, and a doctor. Katsuki screamed as another contraction came, his body involuntary pushing.

"I'm sorry, I don't have time to give you any medication. We'll have to wait till have the first baby is born," the doctor said, "Now, just push as hard as possible till I say stop or till you can't possibly push any more."

Katsuki nodded, grabbing the hand of Eijirou and pushing with all his might. He barely registered the fact that he was screaming bloody murder. It wasn't even twenty seconds of pushing before a small newborn's cry filled the room. Katsuki panted and flopped backward, his screaming coming to an end.

The doctor let Eijirou cut the cord. She picked up the baby and wiped them off. Eijirou helped Katsuki pull off his shirt before the doctor placed the baby on Katsuki's chest. He looked down and put his hand on their back.

"Hey, baby girl..." he whispered with a slightly raspy voice, "I love you so much..." he gently rubbed his thumb through her hair. She continued and cry into his chest, her mouth hanging open in waiting. "Oh, baby, are you hungry?" he asked softly, guiding her gently to his chest until she found her target and started suckling, getting her milk that she wanted so desperately. He smiled fondly at her, leaning back and finally feeling comfortable and relaxed for the first time in a day.

"Well, the next baby is taking his sweet time to move lower. Currently, he's in a breech position. I don't think he can turn by the time he gets low enough for birth. It should be another half an hour before he's ready. I'll leave you to bond with your daughter," the doctor said.

"Wait!" Katsuki said quickly before she left, "Medication?"

"Oh! Yes! Of course! I'll get you some IV meds. Would you like an epidural?"

Katsuki pondered, "Would it work soon enough?"

"Probably. I can't say for sure. It seems worth it to try. It'll definitely be working by the third baby."

"Yeah, I'll go for it," he said.

"Great, I'll be back shortly," she said, leaving.

Katsuki looked down when he felt his daughter's suckling stop. She had her chin propped up on his chest and was staring at him with this feeling of safety and love in her eyes. He started crying all over again.
