Chapter 46

Katsuki blinked his eyes open. He pulled his daughter closer. There was yelling and running outside. It was barely light out. He sat up.

The door slammed open. Someone was standing there. They were backlit. Katsuki couldn't see their face. There wasn't enough light in the room.

"Katsuki! Miki!" they called out. Denki called out.

"Den-Denki?" Katsuki called.

"Yeah. We've got everything covered. Everyone who was involved is being detained. I'm here to bring you back home," Denki said. He took a step into the room.

"Door stopper!" Katsuki yelled, before Denki's hand left the door, "There's no handle on this side."

It took a second for things to click in Denki's mind. "Oh," he said, before grabbing the door stopper from outside and putting it in the door. Katsuki sighed in relief.

"Okay, come over here and help me up," he said. Denki walked over quickly. Katsuki put Miki down and put out his hands for Denki. He quickly pulled him up, and they were both awkwardly reminded of a certain moment when Denki helped him stand up in the past. Katsuki groaned and put a hand on his back when he was standing. "This damn kid. He keeps fucking hurting my back."

Denki stared at his quite obvious bump. Then up at Katsuki. Then down at his bump again. His eyes widened. "Oh my god. You're pregnant?"

"Oh. Yeah. I kinda forgot you guys had no idea."

"Shit, we gotta get you out of here. Eijirou's gonna freak," Denki said.

"Ei's out there?" Katsuki said, hopeful.

"Hell yeah. Waiting desperately for you and Miki."

Katsuki picked up said girl with a small groan, then looked back to Denki. "I assume you know the way out? I've never left this room."

"Yeah. Just- stick close."

Katsuki walked out of the warehouse. It was bright. It was really bright, actually. Even though it was probably only six in the morning. Katsuki wasn't used to full sunlight. He blinked a few times. Then he saw everything. Police cars. Heroes. Police officers. Eijirou.

"Eijirou..." he said softly. Eijirou was crying and smiling. "Eijirou. EIJIROU!" he yelled. He bolted over to his husband and, holding his daughter with one arm, pulled him into a tight hug. He sobbed into his shoulder. "Oh, angel."

Eijirou quickly hugged him back. He pressed his nose into his hair, before quickly pulling back and coughing. "You haven't showered in four months, have you?" he asked, laughing through tears.

"Not once," he said into his neck.

"You smell horrible," Eijirou huffed, "And have a stubble. For once."

Katsuki huffed and pulled back only his face to get a glance at his husband. "Yeah, well you don't look so put together either. Your roots are black, you look like you haven't shaved all four months... a beard on you isn't all that back actually. I missed seeing your face, beard or not," he shrugged. He stuffed his face back into his chest.

Eijirou tucked his face into Katsuki's neck and kissed gently. "Are you okay? Did they hurt you? Are you hungry?"

"They've been feeding me, don't worry. They didn't hurt me. Not really," he, begrudgingly, pulled back from the hug again. He put his free hand on his bump and said, "but our son is hurting my back and stomach constantly. I'm fucking nauseous."
