Chapter 6

"You breastfed.... our five year old daughter..." Eijirou clarified.

"She asked!" Katsuki defended.

"But she's five!"

"And it's safe and she wanted to," Katsuki huffed.

"Fine, fine. But did you three at least sleep well?" Eijirou asked.

"Kind of. I had to pee like 50 times so they got annoyed when I accidentally woke them up," Katsuki laughed.

"Sounds fun. Where are the girls now?" he asked.

"With my mom at the park. They were begging me to go this morning, but I really didn't feel up to it so I sent them off with her," he explained.

"Oh, okay. Why didn't you feel up to it?" he asked, gently holding his hand.

"I just had pretty bad Braxton Hicks contractions when I woke up. Didn't really want to be walking around."

"Oh. Wait if they're bad and the whole morning... are you sure you're not in labor?" Eijirou asked, carefully propping himself up more.

Katsuki laughed. "I'm not in labor, Eijirou. I'm only 32 weeks."

"You could go into premature labor-"

"I'm not going to, Eijirou. It's just Braxton Hicks, okay?" Katsuki assured, squeezing his hand.

"Just be on the lookout... and if you go into labor, come to this hospital. Then they can wheel me in there to watch!" Eijirou cheered.

"I doubt they'd do that, but ok. You'll be healed by the time the babies are born. I'm sure of it. Memories and all."

Eijirou sighed. "Baby, don't get your hopes up."

"Two months. You'll be healed in two months. There's no way you can't be."

"I just don't want you to be disappointed if I'm not. Things happen..." Eijirou sighed, moving his hand so it rested on Katsuki's thigh.

Katsuki sighed and gently leaned his head on his shoulder. "To change the topic... A police officer came by last night after visiting hours...."

"Do I need to beat up a cop? Do we have to run away again? Fuck, that's gonna be hard to do with the girls-"

"Katsuki- stop. We don't have to run away. We're not kids, we can't... we can't just do that anymore. But we don't have to. And no, please don't beat up the cop. He was very nice."

"Fine. Then what did he want to talk about?" Katsuki huffed.

"Well... he told me that I couldn't get arrested or tried again for the same offense, so we had nothing to worry about. He asked some basic questions about our home life and if we were happy... He asked for my account of the night it happened. He asked if I thought I was mentally in a good place and if I thought I needed mental help- you know, revolving around the rape if I thought that was because of mental issues. He was really nice about all of it," he said.

"You... you told him what really happened...?"

"I did. It was time we were honest, okay? It's been hanging over my head and after I knew we were all safe no matter what, I knew we needed to come clean. I promise they can't do anything to us," he gently massaged his thigh, glad that the muscles in his hands and arms weren't so stiff anymore.

"And what did you say about your mental health? Do you think you're in a good place?" he asked.

"Well, yeah. I knew the incident was mostly brought on by alcohol, I don't think anything is up with my head."
