Chapter 24: Twisting Fates

-Kili's POV-

"Its all my fault. How could I be so stupid!" I hurried my head in my hands and listened to the soft pitter patter of my tears as they fell to the floor. Fili put his arm around my shoulders and rested his head backwards on his chair. He was trying to play cool, but he wasn't fooling anyone. His eyes were swollen red, and he looked like he was about to pass out. He had given up on sleep a couple days ago, and no one convinced him otherwise. Black sacks fell under the redness of his eyes and his whole body would just shake at random moments. Fili was a free spirit, he could do whatever he wanted to do. I on the other hand, had to do what others say.

"I'm sorry," he whispered in my ear. I was turning to look at him, when Sapphire's body started to shake. The room went quiet, other then Bones who rushed around grabbing remedies and medicines. He ran over to Sapphire and was about to pour a vial smelling medicine in her mouth when her eyes shot open and she whipped her body up into a sitting position.

"Have to remeber, Kili, Fili, Aragorn, Arwen, Bones, Will, Flora..." she seemed to be chanting under her breath and tears started streaming down her face. "I dont want them to go! Please, let me remember!"

She was scream crying now, I couldn't do anything so I grabbed her hand. She stopped as I did so. I held her hand against my face, letting her warmth overwhelm my skin.

"You won't forget, we all love you," I only said these words to comfort her. I didn't even know what was going on. She looked at me, and worded to words "help me". With that, her body shook, her hand whipped away from my face and she fell off the bed onto the ground, unconscious. We all rushed to her side to try to help her, but all backed away when she started to stir. She looked up and with a yelp of surprise, backed away into a corner.

"Where am I? Who are you people?!" She screamed, scaring everyone. I crawled towards her.

"Sapphire..." I put my hand out towards her, and she screamed... again.

"NO! Get away from me!" With that she got up and ran to the side of her bed, jumped over it and took off running. I ran after her, only to be held back. I turned around and glared at this person... it was Aragorn.

"She doesn't remember us... doesn't remeber you. She's in good hands though... he will take care of her," he said looking around.

"I... wait, did you sat he? Who is he?" I questioned. Aragorn looked down at me with a serious expression.

"People now know him as the Master of Deals, but we knew him as... Rishardo," Aragorn showed no emotion, but I backed away. Sapphire never knew of his dark magic, now god save her soul.

I know this is really short. I will be updating again today.
