Chapter 4: found
Candy and I walked through the whole headquarters with me showing her the lab, hospital, training area, computer area, and the healer area.
"This place is cool" Candy says looking around at all the places I had shown her.
I opened my mouth to speak but was cut off by the sound of a gun. We all looked to the entrance in shock. There were at least 20 cops at the door.
"Come with us!" a whisper came from behind me and I look to see Veronica and Lora.
"Go with them!" hisses Joseph who had stepped in front of me "there is nothing else we can do."
"No! No I won't leave you!" I whisper yell.
Veronica and Lora drag me out of the headquarters and we hide behind a rock wall. We watch as everyone is taken away and shoved in stupid police cars. In one of them... was Christy. That jerk! How did she survive?! I saw Joseph try to get away but he got hit on the head and shoved in the car. Anger swelled from inside as i thought of everyone Joseph, Aragorn, Arawen, Spalk, and more. Then my anger got the best of me and I blacked out.
-Flora's POV-
I knew as soon as Sapphire started death glaring and anger weld up inside of her that she wasn't herself anymore. I know you do not know what I mean but I mean that she has a second side to herself. It is yet another side effect of the mutation to save Sapphire. Her other side is called the Faris. It means flame. I had been to busy thinking to notice Sapphire was about to get up showing our position and looked like she was about to kill someone.
"Sapphire!" I whisper yelled at her holding her down to the ground.
"They will pay!" she growled in an echoey evil voice. I gaped at her, oh no! I could see the fire burning in her eyes and I saw a spark as she held her hand out. Veronica watched in horror as I whipped my hand around and smacked Sapphire in the face. That seemed to do it. "Wha... what happened to me?"
"I will explain later" I whispered wrapping her in my arms. She started to cry as we sit and watch the cars roll by leaving dark trails. "It will be ok" I promise and wish I could take it back but... I can't.
