Chapter 1: nightmares
-Sapphire's POV-
There was so much going on. Christy was smiling and laughing in the corner with T.M up against my face. Joseph was in the middle of the room bleeding against a black tree. All of a sudden I saw T.M holding me around my neck and I saw my eyes close and my body go limp. My REAL eyes widened in surprise.
I woke up with a start. I was panting and sweating. There was much I was scared of at this moment like losing the people I love and... well dying. I held my legs close to my chest feeling close to tears. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around to see Joseph. He had decided to sleep with me ever since the day I woke up. I just looked at him and he seemed to understand. He grabbed me and rapped me in a large hug.
"I will protect you, no matter what" he said which I had gotten used to since this is what he always says when this happens and frankly... it happens quite often.
I started to cry and pushed my head against his chest. He stroked my hair gently an whispers in my ear.
"Come on" he whispers softly "let's go to bed". All I can manage is a weak nod. He pulls me down with him on the bed and I shiver. This was a little scary for me since usually I don't get cold but before I could react Joseph rapped me in a close hug. Then I fell asleep.
