Chapter 9: voices
-Sapphire's POV-
"Ok" Brother Falspar started "you need to unlock Faris from you to get the strength needed to save your friends. To do this you are going to have to listen to me, do what I say, watch closely, and try your HARDEST"
"So when do we start?" I asked nodding.
"Now" he replied "I am going to channel energy into your body to call Faris out to see how tight your bond is, ok?"
"Yes" I said shaking.
He lifted his hand up and muttered words that I couldn't hear/understand. All of a sudden my head started killing me and I fell on my knees clutching it in pain. Then Faris glided out of me and stood there watching.
"Help me please!" I cried at it. Then suddenly relieving the pain it started to talk in my head.
"Dear child. Don't fear." it was a girl's voice "I promise I will not harm you. I just wish to be your friend. I will help you when needed and..." She looked at my wounds she had previously given me "...did I give you those?"
"It's no big deal" I told her but she leaned over me and touched all the wounds.
"Stay away from..." Brother Falspar started to noticed that when she touched the wounds they disappeared. Unfortunately she could not heal the scar on my cheek (from one of the whips in T.M's layer) and a scar above my eyebrow (thorn).
"Thank you" I whispered but instantly clutched my head in pain again as the power of both of us (me and Faris) colliding from the same body came into place.
-Brother Falspar's POV-
I was scared as I felt the power flowing from Sapphire.
'This could kill her' I thought and knew that I had to do this. I let my hand drop to my side and I let the extra energy Sapphire travel back to me. Slowly Faris faded and faded until she was no longer seen. Sapphire lay there groaning back against us in a ball on the soft grass.
"Sapphire?" I called. "Sapphire? Are you ok?"
"Voices" she said still facing the opposite way of me.
"What?" I questioned.
"The voices..." she slowly started turning around painfully. Then she was looking me in the eye. Her expression was pale and scared "...she let me here the voices"
-Joseph's POV-
My cell was lonely and dark. I was alone... so alone. I missed her, I missed Sapphire. It has been so long since I had seen her beautiful eyes. She was so sweet, I couldn't imagine her ever coming to help us and having to hurt people. My mind seemed like a computer one mainframe... her. I loved her, she's the one. I just know it and I am scared that something bad is going to come because of that.
"AHHHHHHHH!" was the scream that ripped me out of my thoughts and made my head whip towards Kili and Fili's cell. Kili was screaming in pain and agony. He was holding his head as you would a headache... but I knew it was worse than that.
"Fili!" I yelled. He looked over at me scared from the corner of the cell.
"I didn't do anything! I swear!" he cried.
"THE VOICES!" Kili screamed "THE VOICES!"
"What the...?" Aragorn yelled confused "Kili!" he yelled and again it happened.
"THE VOICES! THE VOICES!" he screamed again.
"The voices?" Aragorn questioned me. I shrugged just as confused as he was. Aragorn suddenly held his mouth "The voices!" he screamed at me "Fili, cover Kili's ears!" he yelled at Fili.
He nodded and sat next to Kili. He reached his hands out towards him and covered his ears. Kili immediately stopped yelling and looked up.
"You can let go now Fili" Aragorn called.
"They... they want her" Kili said growing worried.
"What?" I questioned.
"They are after Sapphire. The voices need Sapphire" He replied "they want to kill her like T.M."
-Sapphire's POV-
"What voices?" Brother Falspar questioned stepping closer to me followed by Veronica and Lora.
"The ones that want to kill me" I replied calmly. "The ones that will torture me if Faris doesn't help me"
-Lora's POV-
"Um... how are you so calm about this?" I question quite curious
"Cause Faris will protect me" she replied "she promised"
'oh great' I thought 'we are going by the words of someone who tried to tear Sapphire into a complete mad maniac in the first place, that got us into this situation. All of a sudden there was a whisper as Sapphire spoke quietly.
"Never trust the voices."
