Chapter 21: Memory Wipe
-Flora's POV-
I open my red eyes and I found I am lying on the ground. A bunch of humans were looking down on me. Instinctively I am frightened and burst up in a stream of darkness into the sky.
"WHO ARE YOU? What do you want?" In an almost demonic voice.
"Flora!" calls the blonde girl with fire red eyes on the ground "It's ok. You're safe"
-Sapphire's POV-
Waiting for Flora to wake up was NOT my best move. As soon as she woke up, she freaked out from all the people around her and flew into the sky. I am not being very smart today. Almost getting myself killed, almost losing Aragorn... and now this! This is not one of my good days.
"Flora!" I screamed up into the sky. "It's ok. You're safe."
She seemed very hesitant at coming down, but slowly I noticed her floating down to the ground. I knew she didn't remember me, but yet she still seemed to trust me. Like something told her I was only trying to help.
"Come on," I said putting my arm around her. "Let's go home."
-Flora's POV-
It's been a few days since I have returned to my body, and I've gotten used to things. Looking in the mirror and not expecting to see a slim 16 year old girl. Oh yeah. And I'm a dark caster. Brava. Saraphine is always there, always tells me I'm right, and I kinda love her. A lot. She's really starting to act like a good mother. I'm sorry I banished her. When I banished her, her spirit didn't obliterate like I thought it would, instead she became my mentor, my mother, and my family. She teaches me and helps me with dark casting.
I'm stuck at the I.G.B. with a girl named Sapphire. She says I know her. She says she knows me. The only person I remember is Brother Falspar, and even those memories are distanced from me. I vaguely remember brother Falspar tellingly that I would go into my spiritual trance when my time comes, but once I'm in the trance I won't remember anything anyone tells me for my spirit will be turning my mind away from those thoughts and bring me to brother Falspar.
-FLASHBACK-
"Dear flora, dear sweet flora, I will not be able to bring you back from this trance. You know this right?" Brother Falspar says.
"Unfortunately so, but I am already in the trance. There is no going back." I say, rather matter-of-factly.
"Flora, I know you won't remember, but the only girl that can save you is your best friend Sapphire."
-END OF FLASHBACK-
All of a sudden I get a huge wave of emotion, memory, and I know everything. But that doesn't change how I feel. I remember me and Sapphire. I remember holding her in my arms as she cried. I remember buying her a motorcycle. I remember it all. But I also remember I am dark. I know this, and it is who I am. I like who I am, and I am going to escape from here tonight, so nobody gets hurt.

As I walk out of the building, a boy walks towards me. I don't ask questions, I just go with him. I feel happy with him. Once we are far enough from the IGB we talk. His name is Michael. He's hot. He brings me to his house which is dark, but comfortable. We sit down on the club, and talk like we have known each other for ages. Then he leans in and he kisses me. Intoxicating, but joyful. And I realized even though I was dark, I fell in love.
-Sapphire's POV-
Although she hoped no one would see, I watched as Flora left the head quarters, memories intact. I didn't try to stop her, because I to had gone through this before. I couldn't always be there forever. There was so much I washed tk warn her about though. In my little dying world I had heard a prophecy... a prophecy about both her and I, and now I knew what was going to happen. The words rung through my ears. One of dark brought to the light. The death of one leads to the loss of all. Memories gone, family lost. The one of dark may try and try. No one can stop this curse of lies. I understood it now, and realized my life... was nearing it's end. This time, there was no saving us. I looked down at my journal that I clutched close to my chest. Flora will be the only hope of bringing us back, but could she do it? My time draws near, Flora... you better be prepared.
