Chapter 11: three steps

-Sapphire's POV-

"Concentrate" Brother Falspar snapped

"I'm trying" I cried in pain.

"Come on!" Veronica says trying to help push me to do it.

"Ok!" I snap channeling even more energy towards the red tulip in front of me. We are following the three steps Falspar told me would help connect to Faris.

1. An offering (the flower)

2. A sacrifice (I have to give myself a cut then drink the blood. A full glass)

3. Protection (Faris has to keep her promise and protect me)

All of a sudden the flower in front of me disappeared and I heard Faris in my head. 'Thank you for the beautiful Tulip'.

I didn't reply to her because I was to exhausted and so I sat down on the ground.

"What's next?" I ask.

"You are not doing anything. You are going to rest" Falspar commanded.

"It's ok. I can keep going" I said trying to get up. It was like my legs were jello so I was sent back down onto my but. "I guess a little rest won't heart" I laughed.

We all got in our sleeping bags and said good night to each other. As soon as everyone else was asleep I took out my journal to start writing.

Dear journal, day 2

I and sorry. This must be really hard for you to take in. We are going to get our friends back from a jail that they were taken too but Falspar says we have to give it time so T.M can think no one is coming to help. I don't know how long we have to wait but we have to. I am scared for not seeing you in so long and not seeing everyone else for a while. Please try to remember me and everyone. You are like my sister and I miss you. You even gave me a motorcycle! I want you to listen closely to this though please! You need to remember this. Someday you will be reading this page and everything that I tell you will happen as I tell you. You will walk down Karin Street and a blonde, red streaked haired, blue eyed girl will run past you pushing off your shoulder. Well... That's me. I have bare feet. I will be followed by three strong men will be chasing me. Please trip them so they don't catch up to me and follow me. Just don't I repeat DON'T let me or them see this journal. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Sapphire

-Flora's POV-

I watch as Christy, confusesd and weak falls to the ground. "wha.... where, who, what? where am i?" she asks one of the nearby guards. "Christy you idiot you know where you are. GUARDS! take her and throw her on the streets. something has happened in her mind. she is useless to us now." the tar monster says, appearing as if out of nowhere.

I watched as the guards dragged a kicking and screaming Christy out of the building. I followed them, and watched the now human girl as she ran after them as they walked back into the building. She collapsed on the sidewalk bawling. I left her, because there was nothing I could do. I cast a binding spell that made it so Christy's parents would drive by or walk by and see her, and take her home.

I float around, board, because I have nothing else to do. The monks should have brought me back by now. oh well. if they dont bring me back soon, i will start to lose all memories of who i was. who i am. is they don't bring me back.... the world will collapse at the hands of T.M. We can't have that happen. Brother Falspar wasn't supposed to teach Sapphire how to control Faris. Her teacher was supposed to. Her teacher was supposed to guide her. I am her teacher.
