Chapter 5: Flora's journey
-Flora's POV-
I tell sapphire I have to go, and lead her to her friends. I have business to take care of. I exit out of the secret exit in the back of the headquarters, so I am walking straight into the forest. There, my hawk meets me.
"Flora, enter thy spiritual state. Actions must be made, hung need be done. They should have been done three thousand years ago, Flora. Weigh the burden of fate and push it along. May the gods be with you." He says, and portrays the future before me.
He flies back to His nest. I begin the long walk into the middle of the woods. I walk for miles and miles, and because I am in a state made for meditation,I know I could be gone for weeks. I use my train of thought to enter Sapphire's mind and say goodbye, and give her joy to help her through everything that just happened.
Finally, I reach the camp. There, five others have joined to form a triangle.
"Flora, mother of witches, goddess of elements, you are late." Says a monk named brother Falspar.
"Do forgive the mistakes of my souls, my lives, Brother Falspar. Let me join your triangle of life, joining the six covens, allowing me to enter my spiritual state." They make room for me, and I join the group, my eyes immediately alternating different colors, (note my spiritual state makes me look creepy, and my true self comes out and I have no pupils.) My eyes change from brown to blue, blue to red, red to white, white to brown, etc.
My body changes form, and I become angel with a black body, and white wings. (Note that my eyes continue to change color) and in will look like his for the next three to four weeks, and I hope the monks do remember to bring me back to normal. Eventually. I feel the earth in my right hand, water in my left hand, wind surrounding my head, and fire scorching my heart. I release my hands from the group, an find myself drawn towards the center of the triangle and my wins guide me to the center of the triangle, ten feet above the ground.
-Sapphire's POV-
Flora had left us to go do well... something. Who knows what?! We had stayed there waiting for her to come back but then I heard her.
'Goodbye, I will not be back for a while so don't be scared. Do what you need to do an try to stay joyful, it helps' her voice said through telekinesis.
For some reason I feel that she is keeping something from me. She never even explained what had happened to me. I look over at Veronica and Lora.
"She abandoned us, without a trace" was the small fearful whisper that escaped my lips.
-Veronica's POV- After her little outburst Sapphire seemed a little shaky and i knew her having Faris as part of her does not help. It is limited to a few that know about what really goes on with her. There is Lora, Bones (obviously), Flora, Rishardo, and I that know. Mostly because we are the ones that don't freak out as much as the others and because Bones trusts us not to tell anyone although, I don't know why he trusted Rishardo but it was his decision. I was ripped out of thought by a little voice.
"She abandoned us, without a trace" was the small fearful whisper of Sapphire. I had been to deep in thought to realize that myself.
"it's going to be OK" I whisper gently to her like a mother to a child. I knew she had been through a lot and that this would be hard but I know what we need to do "we need to get help... from the SSO"
