Chapter 34: Putting Back the Pieces
-Rishardo's POV-

Sapphire's gone... for good, and everyone saw her last moments drift away kissing a monster. What had she ever seen in me? Why had I ever believed I had a chance? I should've known that all my love would bring is death, but I still chose to give myself a chance and maybe things would work out.

The tears streamed down my face like the never-ending water fall of emotions that I had left in my heart for so many years. I couldn't face the fact that all I had left to look forward to this world was gone, and the one time we needed her most.

"Incoming message! ... from the Tar Monster," someone said from the command message room. I sat up, everyone watching me, wiped away the tears and walked over to the large projection screen. Aragorn was by my side, looking as depressed as I felt, but I know mine hurt a lot more. The screen changed from it's regular black color to the tan of skin, but it was just the back wall of where ever the film was being taken from.

"Dearest I.G.B. members: I must give my condolences for your most recent loss of a life. Yet, I still would like to tell you that I have decided that it is time that we get  our happy ending. In three days time, the I.G.B. will fall and all around you shall forget everything about you. You won't be the heroes of the story anymore, you'll be the legend... The myth. The storm that never hit, and saviors that will never save anyone again. Say goodbye to everything you hold dear, because that's what you did to me, that's what you did to us. And there will only ever be us, the dark, the killers, the command, the rulers, the dark ones, and we shall rule as you guys fade into nothing, nothing at all! This is the only warning you will receive and even now... Its too late for you." His meniacole laughter filled the room, and the screen returned to the black it was before.

Screams began a little afterwards, no one understood, everyone was scared everyone didn't understand anymore, already they know they were going to die, they knew the legends, everything that was going to be said about them was going to be about how they left how they abandoned everyone, but it wouldn't be true, but it wouldn't be true and only they would know that, no one else would. How could they live like that, how could the world live without them... I couldn't, it wouldn't, they knew was going to happen next. They knew... The world was going to end.

Memory's POV

"FLORA! FLORA!" I yelled, running up to my big sissy. "YOU CAME HOME TO VISIT!!! Oh it's been so long! It's lonely here without mommy and daddy."
