"Have we been here?" Ivy asked Zack, her voice echoing through the empty and long hallway. Her short red hair bounced alongside her face as she opened a white door and stepped in.

Zack shook his head and followed, "This room gives me a strange chill." A bed was set in the middle of the room, a few drawers were lined up against a wall. Ivy agreed and let her feet carry her around the bed, the one window allowing a few lights along the area. It's slightly cracked glass causing the ominous feeling to increase.

"Zack." Ivy called out and the boy moved his attention to her, "Come take a look at this." The sound of a drawer being opened bounced off the walls. Folders filled the space, each having a different name. Ivy scanned through them, "Wait!" Zack quickly said, his hand stopping Ivy's. "This one." His fingers wrapped around a file, pulling it out.

"Terresa Solmen, age twenty five." The light started to dim, "Cause of death..." The female's voice trailed off as her eyes drifted to Zack and his face was frozen with shock, "Oh no." The news was slammed shut, a tense cloud now hovering above their heads. "Does she know?" Zack asked with hesitation.

Ivy turned to the door of the room, her grey eyes filled with remorse.

Ryan left the testing room and walked into the storage, making his way down the different bottles on the shelf. The one he needed imitating a soft glow, his steps hitting the ground in a rhythm. His hand shot out to grab the vial, "The last one." Ryan whispered.

A sigh escaped his mouth as his lips fell into a frown, "It needed to be done." He reassured himself. Ryan spun around and moved out of the room, "Are you ready?!" He called out.

Conner carefully helped his father off of the bed, "We won't be needing anything anymore." The young man responded which caused Ryan to come to a halt. Ally hardened her face, "Tell them. " She demanded. The black haired male's jaw clenched and his fingers were now harsh against the small glass.

Footsteps rushed into the testing room, pants emitting from the new four arrivals, "Did he give it you yet?!" Terra exclaimed. "No." Ryan answered for Sylvester, his eyes showing emotion.

Everyone's eyes bounced off each other as they waited for something to happen.

"Tell them what's in there." Ally came closer to Conner, Ryan stayed silent. "Where are the other two?" Sylvester asked, his voice shaking with fear. "I hope for your sake they aren't snooping around." Ryan growled and hid the vial in his hand behind his back.

Mary shook her head, "You're an evil man." Disgust leaking from her lips. Terra glanced down at Mary and nudged her shoulder, "What is it?" The purple eyed girl held out a finger towards Ryan, "The liquid has a chemical called Algorosetic Chloride." Nora gasped, a hand coming to cover her mouth.

At that moment Ivy and Zack stumbled into the room, "Sylvester don't listen to him!" Ivy shouted. "The liquid contains a dangerous mineral used for the creation of bombs." The red head brought up a file that was under her arm, "This shows that all the people that were here were either killed by the substance or taken by the government." All eyes snapped to Ryan, "He gave all the vials to the authorities and sent his co-workers to their death." She spat.

Tan was catching on, "Wait, wait. So you're telling me that whatever is in that thing is causing people to die?" Zack and Ivy nodded. Terra started to shake, Tan turned to her and felt the nervousness.

"Terra." He whispered. Ryan glared at the blue and grey eyed young adults. "It's true." Nora lowered her hand, "The authorities came, they collected all my research on the chemical, took all my vials and the rest of co-workers."

"You knew it would kill them?" Conner asked and Ryan shrugged, "Before I decided to inject Terra, a few died. Once I realized that Terra was a success, I informed the president. He arrived after Terra ran away. Told me to stay here and look for her."

"Why?" Tan asked, his eyes still on Terra. "They want to know why she was able to survive when the others haven't."

Terra shook her head, "No. We have to stop them." Ryan's face fell into confusion, "It doesn't work."

"I'm dying."
