The atmosphere was heavy with anticipation and fear. Ivy which stood on the front lines bit her lip in anxiety, "Are they-" She couldn't bring herself to finish that question, cutting herself short. Terra glanced behind her to look at what she had accomplished and for a few seconds, she wondered why they weren't.

"For now, no. I only wish to kill one person." The raven-haired girl turned her attention forward, her face showing confusion and concentration. When she came across all the others before she made it here, there was no hesitation in seeing their light disappear.

Ryan was someone else who seemed to take notice of this and placed his hand on Mary's shoulder, pulling her towards him to whisper in her ear, "She's trying to figure out why she feels something. Speak to her." Mary nodded subtly at his instruction before focusing on the pained female.

If the mind reader was able to get into her head Terra did not flinch and instead spoke to Ivy, "Seeing as the fire tends to keep flickering in your direction, I assume you are its mother."

A blue orb started to build between Zack's fingers. Plan b flashed through his mind and he swallowed quietly, eyes jumping from person to person. His breath was coming out quickly due to the terror he couldn't suppress but for the sake of a good outcome, he needed to.

"Terra," Ryan called out and lifted his hand, slightly shaking it to show the vial he held, "This is C2. It will help you, remove the fury you feel. Bring you back."

Terra laughed shortly at that, "Do you truly believe that I would let another thing enter my body again?" She rubbed her bottom lip with a finger, seeming to be deep in thoughts, "I keep on hearing how I am not who I was. Now a villain, a monster but I think that you have it all wrong,"

Her finger fell, letting her hand lay next to her waist, "A president who decided to kill billions of lives and save only a handful instead of all those who weren't sick. Just because he wanted the loyal ones who won't overthrow him. That to me sounds like someone who's a monster."

"Why did you kill all those people if you only desired for one?" Scarlett asked the girl who continued to stare blankly at the group. "They hurt me and others. What happened to those scientists who worked for my father? Did you guys dispose of them?" The room beneath them started to rumble causing their knees to tremble.

The adults among them gazed at one another with sunken expressions, "I believe what I am doing is right. Right for all of those who have been done wrong by you but most of all I am going to avenge my mother who was killed for your son."

It happened swiftly, Zack enlarged the electric orb between his hands and threw it behind Terra, creating a shield over the statues. "Ivy, come on." He didn't waste time, sticking to the plan and grabbed her arm. The fire went out due to the interruption caused and the redhead was lucky to touch Mary, motioning the girl to follow.

Terra's head never turned to the young adults who ran past her, she just started her path forward but behind her, within Zack's electric ability, the frozen "humans" started to crack.

Ryan moved towards the desk, catching Terra's eyes and due to that short distraction, the three adults were able to run at her. The raven-haired girl was thrown off guard, her eyes blown wide in surprise. Scarlett hugged Terra's waist at the exact time Zion and Sylvester seized her arms.

Mary was the true reason why the girl seemed lost in what was happening. The purple-eyed girl was sending memories of their interactions and even clearing some which Terra had happened to close off. Terra was fighting the people off her but at the same time fighting off the strange emotions she never remembered feeling before.

They forced her back, causing all four of them to hit the floor and Terra even though she was still slightly fuzzy started coming back to her senses and struggled against them.

Ryan walked closer to them and once he was stood staring down at his child, he flicked the vial just a bit, making sure. Making sure of what? He had no clue. His knees bent and his body lowered, bringing the cure nearer to her skin.

"Please don't do this." The voice that left Terra was small, childlike, innocent. Hearing it caused the black-haired man to halt his movements and that small gap of frozen time gave Terra's mind a chance. A chance for her father to choke in pain, a chance for the cure to slip from his grip.

Zack kept his barrier strong around his friends as he inspected the situation occurring, "We have to help," Mary spoke up, her hands shaking, "Ryan's been hurt." Ivy shook her head, the remaining three adults trying their best to keep the girl down as Zion reached for the vial slowly and carefully.

"We cant Mary. I don't want to hurt her." Ivy mumbled back in a hurry. With every passing second, their hope was disappearing but like an angel was sent to help, Conner stopped next to Mary, "She's still in there." She answered the silent question. Conner nodded, "Then we know what to do."

The young friends stood next to one another and after a few whispers of the wind, made their choice.
