The group of young adults carefully entered a large room, "This is the laboratory." Ambrose informed once they noticed it was empty, "Normally there are always people in here, but they are all probably dealing with that friend of yours, Terra." Ivy was quick to know what had to be done, she rushed to each one of the drawers and opened them, flipping through their notes. "Ivy, what are you doing?" Mary asked harshly, "They could be back before we know it."
Ambrose shook his head and pointed to a computer monitor, "No one's coming back." On the screen was all the scientists, all preoccupied with the current area they were in and you could tell that whatever they were doing was serious. Serious enough to not notice the children on their own screen.
"Ivy!" Mary hissed when a file landed on the floor with a thud, Ivy ignored her and carried on with her search. Ally chuckled lightly and Mary glared at her, "I love that you think this is so funny." The smile was wiped off of the white-haired girls face, "Who are you again?" Ambrose whistled at the tension between the two, "I thought you guys were friends, perhaps I was wrong."
Conner rolled his eyes, "Ivy have you found anything yet?" He easily ignored the two females who stared the other down. "Just some rubbish." She replied and tossed the paper she held behind her. The brown-haired haired male knelt and decided to glance at it, what he read made him do a double-take.
He snatched the paper between his fingers and his eyes read the lines quickly, "Guys." He called out and Tan hearing the urgency in his tone rushed to his side, "What is it? Did you find anything?" He asked, glancing down at him. "I'm not sure." He stood up, "Here." Ambrose flinched at the movement, not expecting it but carefully accepted it, "Read and explain."
Ambrose nodded and his eyes travelled over to the paper, he absorbed the information with a frown on his face and a twitch to his brows. He hummed in concentration, "It looks like this is talking about a replacement, that they made a new cure." All the movement seized, "It says, "Only temporarily stops symptoms, needs to be given in doses." " He quoted.
Ally frowned, "Ryan never mentioned any symptoms." She turned to Conner and he shook his head, informing her he too didn't know. "Critical thinking drains, eyes start to lose their colour, subjects seem to lose all emotions except rage..." Ambrose continued.
A scream burst through the room and their eyes snapped to the screen. "Get your hands off me!" Terra growled as she struggled against the people in white clothing, who were dragging her over to a chair. Tan walked closer to the monitor with a sad look on his face. Terra gritted her teeth together as they strapped her arms and ankles to the chairs limbs.

"They keep injecting stuff into me," Terra whimpered, "I feel like I'm losing my mind!" She screamed and clutched her head. A tear slid down Ryan's face as he stared down at his daughter.
"Please," She begged, the door abruptly opened, "Help me." Was the last thing he heard from her as she was picked up and dragged out of the room. Maria smiled sadly at the male, "Time is up."

"I'm going to kill you all!" The scientist fumbling with her restraints flew back, the wrap-around her right arm snapped off just as more of the workers ran into the room. Terra glared at them and they all froze in place, fear keeping their feet stuck to the ground. "Get the liquid!" Scarlett commanded as the raven-haired girl finally freed herself from the chair.
A smirk overcame Terra and she licked her teeth, "Fear," She tilted her head, "How sweet." The scene was quick, Terra rushed towards the exit as a dagger materialised itself behind her on a table full of steel tools. She punched one of the men who decided to challenge her and kicked another, sending him tumbling to the ground.
"Guards!" Scarlett yelled, not sticking around and running out of the room to find help once she realized this was not going to end well.
The scientists stumbled out of the room, pushing their peers out of the way with no hesitation. Terra chuckled at the sight but stopped as she heard heavy feet come closer. "Stand down!" A male guard demanded and she narrowed her eyes before she lifted her hand, it closed into a fist just as the man fell to the ground. Sputtering as he held his throat which was embedded by a dagger.
The soldiers started firing their weapons at her after a second of watching their captain on the ground. Her other hand came up quick, she faced her palm towards them and all the bullets seized when they came close to her skin. "You should've just let me leave." She whispered and with and a flick of the same hand the bullets went back into their rightful owners.
Bodies fell limp to her feet and she walked over to the first man she killed, bending down to pull out the dagger. Terra twirled the knife as she stepped over the bodies to get out and with a scoff, strutted.
